Our apartment at Sapphire Beach is approximately 1900 sq.ft of beachfront luxury and is located on the third floor of the complex, and features an open plan living, dining, kitchen area, leading on to the balcony which overlooks the pools, beach and ocean beyond. The master bedroom (with an en-suite bathroom) also has direct access to the balcony, and is angled is such a way that you can lay on your bed and look straight out the ocean view! Bedroom 2 also has an en-suite bathroom, whilst Bedroom 3 is next door to the hallway bathroom.
This unit is fully equipped and includes a superbly designed Italian kitchen and air-conditioning as well as ceiling fans in all rooms. The finishes are luxurious throughout and show top quality craftsmanship including the granite counter tops and porcelain floor tiles. Most importantly the view of the beach and the ocean from this unit at Sapphire Beach is incredible. There is access to a state of the art gym and large swimming pool. Good Security.
Thank you for helping to organize the lovely stay we had at the Sapphire Beach. The condo was exactly what we expected. What a wonderful island, we hope to make a return in the next few years and will definitely inquire about properties Island Gold is offering.
The apartment is beautiful, luxurious, very clean with top of the range facilities and in an ideal position for the lovely beach and only a 10 minute walk to local restaurants and clubs meant we were away from the centre of St Lawrence Gap with it's loud music till the early hours. The only music problem we had was from the Sports Bar across the road but that was only 2 nights out of the 10 nights we stayed there and it did stop around midnight.
The apartment facilities were as described apart from the hairdrier which we had to ask for but which was provided the following day.
The 3rd bedroom was a disappointment in that we were 2 couples + 2 female friends. The 3rd bedroom is about half the size of the other 2 which are huge, luxurious and with fantastic en-suites whereas the 3rd bedroom's bathroom is off the main corridor. As we had already split the cost of accommodation evenly between us all the 2 friends sharing the 3rd bedroom enjoyed considerably less than the rest of us. We also found when we moved in that the picture of the 3rd bedroom showed 2 single beds but they had been made up as 1 double bed. When we queried this we were told that we had not requested it to be made up as 2 singles. In the end the 2 friends left it as a double as the bed was so big - also if the bed had been split into 2 singles the bedroom would have been even smaller to get around.
Local supermarkets were 5 minutes away and the wonderful bus service, 10 minutes walk away. Local taxis were plentiful.
We all had a fantastic holiday and would recommend the apartment to anyone.
Make sure when you visit Barbados that you experience Oistins on Friday night, the Segway tour and the Jammin katamaran cruise - all of which are recommended by all of our party.
Ideally situated on the fabulous Dover Beach and enjoying stunning ocean views; the property is within walking of several bars, a variety of restaurants, vibrant nightlife and mini marts. All amenities are within walking distance. The beautiful white beach is ideal for calm swimming or just around the corner you can learn to surf , enjoy sailing or snorkelling. Within a 5 minute drive you will find all amenities that the popular south coast offers, including more perfect white sandy beaches a large fully stocked super market with fresh and frozen produce (who provide a free shuttle service back to your apartment), an International Bank, Post office, 24hr Petrol station which also has a food shop inside, beauty salons and duty free shops. Everything that is required a comfortable relaxing holiday is a mere moments away.
