2 bedroom / 2 bathroom ground floor apartment recently refurbished with pool

No 2 Cueva Del Lobo is a ground floor apartment within a complex of 8 apartments, with communal pool and gardens. The apartment comprises of large front sun terrace, lounge/diner and a fully equipped kitchen. Bedroom 1 has two single beds and a bathroom located adjacent. Bedroom 2 has a double bed, with dressing area and en-suite shower room. The lounge has satellite TV, CD/DVD player and flat screen television, with a 2 seater and 3 seater sofas, and a dining table to seat 4. The galley kitchen is located to the rear of the property and has an electric oven / gas hob, washing machine, microwave and tall fridge/freezer. From the kitchen into the rear of the property a small terrace can be found, ideal for hanging out washing/ beach towels etc. The communal pool is situated to the right of the apartment on a raised level, with secluded area for private sun bathing. Car parking can be found on the quiet street in front of the property.

Welcome Pack: On arrival the apartment will be stocked with a basic welcome pack, comprising of water, milk, bottle of wine, bread margarine, packet of biscuits and tea/ coffee. The apartment will also be equipped with toilet rolls, washing powder, and washing up liquid. These are free to use, but we do ask that you replace these items as they run out, ready for the next arrivals. We wish you to enjoy your stay in our holiday home and respect the property and the surrounding neighbours.

Housekeeper / Assistance whilst on holiday: The rental cost quoted includes for the welcome pack and cleaning costs after departure, and support is on hand locally, if you have any technical difficulties during your stay (contact details supplied within apartment folder). Helpful friendly neighbours will also assist you with any queries you may have regarding local amenities / facilities.

Thanks for the use of your apartment, had a great week, very relaxing and lovely weather (up to Saturday). An ideal place to stay, near the front, near some great restaurants and some nice bars. Very relaxing walks along the promenade, could not have asked for anything better.

Peaceful Stay in Great Location

Generally well specified apartment in a brilliant and peaceful location. Short walk to Mojacar Playa for beaches & nearby restaurants .Bus stop also close by for trips to the Pueblo for more choices of eateries !

Nice ceiling fans in all rooms but air conditioning only in master bedroom so it is vital to have door and kitchen window open to create through draft to reduce temperature to a tolerable level.

Great communication from a very friendly and helpful owner.

I love the area and if you do too and are looking for accommodation I would recommend looking at this apartment for your stay !

Perfect - everything we wanted and more

This was an excellent rental. The apartment is really nicely laid out, in a small well designed complex with a great private front terrace. The shared pool was just the right size to be able to get a proper swim as well as for children to play in. There were some really useful and thoughtful touches too - bottle of wine/milk/food; buckets and spades for the beach. The best bit - the sea (and wonderful beach) is really just a few minutes walk away. Could not fault this place - only that the photos don't do it justice. Really hoping to stay again.

Great Place

Everything was nice and clean and it had most things we required for our stay. It was great having the two bathrooms when we had visitors. The wi-fi was very good, it didn't run slow and we only lost service twice during our 10 week stay. The TV seemed very small compared to home but we got used to it. The terrace gets the sun most of the day and it is a lovely quiet relaxing place to sit. Location is ideal, close to the beautiful walk-way along the sea front and close to restaurants etc.

Christine & Peter carry out the cleaning and maintenance of the property and it was very reassuring to have them just a phone call away, they were extremely helpful. The other apartment owners and guests whom we met were all very kind, helpful, friendly which added to the whole success of our stay.

Would definitely recommend it to others.

Well located apartment on a small complex

The property was clean and well maintained and the owner had good local contacts in case we had any problems (we didn't). All of the facilities worked and the furniture was comfortable and modern inside and out. The terrace at the front gets the sun most of the day. It is a small group of apartments so it was very friendly, quite quiet and felt very safe. The pool was never too busy and with two young children we never felt like we were disturbing anyone if they were playing. The apartment is a couple of minutes walk from the beach, some great bars and restaurants and the bus stop that takes you to the old town and the Aquapark at Vera. We decided not to hire a car and used airport transfers and had no problem getting everywhere we wanted to go. We hope to return again soon.

peace in mojacar

Having stayed many times in a property above no. 2 we sort of knew about this lovely little apartment. We were a tad worried it might be very hot but need not of worried, the sun never actually gets into the property, so if front and back doors are open ceiling fan on low its like been in a cool cave. Everything you need is in the apartment and if there's a problem it will be sorted as soon as the owner knows about it. Loved the easy access to the pool and the comfy sun beds on the patio. Having wifi and TV is a bonus. We are returning again in 10 weeks and will probably make this our new holiday apartment in mojacar, we go two or three times a year .Cueva del lobo is handy for bars and restaurants and the beach ,the supermarket (Thomas) is within easy walking distance and bus stop is bottom of road. Centrally located on the Mojacar Playa,one street back from the main tourist promenade,this apartment is situated in a quiet leafy residential street ideal for those with young children. The famous La Cabana Argentinian Steak House, Irish Rover pub / restaurant and the The Beachcomber cafe are just a 1 minute walk away at the end of the street . The local bus services stop at the end of the street and provide regular services to Mojacar Old Town, Commercial Centre and the fishing ports of Garrucha and Carboneras, as well as the Water park at Vera. If golfing is of interest the apartment is equidistant between La Macenas golf resort and Marina Golf Resort in Mojacar, with a short car journey to Cortijo Grande golf course or Valle De Este and Desert Springs resort. If relaxation is the priority then clean sandy beaches are located on your doorstep, or you can go walking in the Cabo De Gata national park situated at the end of the resort heading towards Carboneras

Golf: Las Macenas golf course (18 holes) is located 2 kilometres to the right of the apartment towards Carboneras at the end of the Playa, and runs parallel to the coast.

Marina Golf (18 holes with driving range / putting green) is located 2 kilometres to the left of the apartment towards Garrucha.

Cortijo Grande resort (9 holes) is located 5 kilometres from the apartment heading towards Turre and the motorway, hidden in the valley beneath the scenic drop of the mountains. A nice rustic course.

Val De Este complex (18 holes) is 10 kilometres from the apartment located behind Garrucha town, and is well known on the golfers circuit for a testing round of golf.

Desert Springs complex (18 holes/ driving range) is located towards Cueva del Almanzora approx 15 kilometres from the apartment and is a well known course for the celebrity pro-ams to meet up and socialise.

Other numerous courses are located towards Almeria Airport and further up the coast towards Murcia and La Manga
