My husband and I are local from Luray, Va. We have a beautiful baby son, and two dogs. We love our family time together, and we wanted to have a place where others could have family times and enjoy the cool mountain air.
Brandi McLain purchased this cabin in 2006
We used to live in this cabin until we out grew it when we had our son. We loved the cabin so much we couldn't part with it. So we decided to let other families enjoy it too!
This cabin has fresh spring water, beautiful views of the Shenandoah Valley, and cool mountain air in the summer. To relax we have 4 person hot tub.
This was a great trip for us to take (including our two dogs). Brandi was more than helpful with the trip and the cabin was well stocked in all aspects. The location is secluded, yet close enough to local attractions and stores. I would highly recommend going to Skyline Drive, Luray Cavers, Oak Hill Cidery while there. The hot tub was a luxury to have as well.
Nicely setup with all amenities. Weather was awesome so we did not need gas fireplace inside, but enjoyed the fire pit. Hubby enjoyed creating a nightly blaze. Hot tub and stars. Perfect . Road and driveway a bit scary. Thanks that my hubby has 4x4.
Love the hot tub. Only one bathroom was the down fall with 4 people. Like to had something farther away from the road. Was hard to find at night when we came.
We stayed at this cabin the weekend of 11/6/15 and we absolutely loved it! It's the cutest cabin I've ever seen! It was very clean and cozy and the hot tub was an added bonus. Location is great as well. The owner Brandi is amazing and very sweet. I definitely recommend staying at this cabin and we are trying to figure out when we can go back ASAP!
This cabin is so cute. Everything you need for cooking the deck is so relaxing. the area has some
amazing great hiking spots. This cabin is very close to the
Luray Caverns. Brandi was very professional and I would stay here again and tell anyone too. The enclosed porch is so
nice! Right off the road... but back far enough you feel like your in the woods. THANK YOU SO MUCH Brandi!!!!! Also no
Our stay was amazing! My husband and I came here to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. With both of us having crazy busy jobs it really was so perfect to be out in the mountains relaxing for 4 days. We brought our two little dogs and they loved every minute of it. The only reason we give it it four stars and not five is that the hot tub wasn't in working order during our stay. However, Brandi and her family were super nice and helpful and came back twice to try and fix it. Also, just know that the cabin is right by the side of a fairly busy road. We were originally put off by that when we drove up the driveway. But int he end, it was actually kind of relaxing to watch the cars. We did lots of hiking and overall it really was a fantastic long weekend. We would love to stay again.
