If you like the great outdoors this is a place for you ! In the winter months you will need an all-wheel or 4 Wheel Dr. vehicle to make it up the driveway.
Plan your day's activities on the River or over to Shenandoah National Park and skyline drive or explore Luray Caverns and the quaint town of Luray. So much to do so plan lots of time or just relax and enjoy the mountain air in the hot tub.

My husband and I are local from Luray, Va. We have a beautiful baby son, and two dogs. We love our family time together, and we wanted to have a place where others could have family times and enjoy the cool mountain air.
Brandi McLain purchased this cabin in 2006
We used to live in this cabin until we out grew it when we had our son. We loved the cabin so much we couldn't part with it. So we decided to let other families enjoy it too!
This cabin has fresh spring water, beautiful views of the Shenandoah Valley, and cool mountain air in the summer. To relax we have 4 person hot tub.
My husband & I just loved the cabin to the point of not wanting to leave. The week just wasn't long enough. Brandi was a sweetheart! She assured us that she was there for us if we ever needed anything. We got it as a last-minute deal and I'm grateful we were able to find this. It was like a honeymoon all over again. We did some exploring, went to the zoo--but mostly we enjoyed the solitude. In my work, I'm around chaos almost on a daily basis and it was good to just sit back and exhale for a week. Enjoyed the location, the beauty of the surroundings, the coziness of the cabin, etc. It was a wonderful stay. Hope to do this again! Thank you, Brandi!
Brandi is wonderful! She is so sweet and helpful. We had a great stay, despite chilly temps. The cabin is clean and cozy and has everything you could need to cook and grill. Little things were thought of as well. The fireplace is a great place to cuddle. The hot tub is great and you can relax watching the stars, watching the fire pit or looking out over the valley. Lots of small shops and restaurants nearby. Close to luray caverns and skyline drive. All around great place to stay! I was completely happy with the cabin, location and our stay. Thanks Brandi!
The Cabin weekend was a little getaway for my girlfriend and best friend. We decided to plan our trip during the Thanksgiving Holiday to get away from the busy life style that is DC and the world. This cabin offered us the tranquility of nature that we were seeking as well as the solitude from the world. It had everything we needed for our stay. The views were a great addition to our mornings. The cabin had a cozy atmosphere as well as a jacuzzi. Cause cmon, who doesn't love a jacuzzi? Overall our stay was pleasant, and much needed. I definitely recommend this little Cabin for anyone wanting to get a peace of mind.
We have been staying in various places in the Shenandoah Mountain area for almost a decade. This one had a few special features, like the open ceiling, hot tub, and real cabin feel, and a beautiful partial view. But it lacked more than it had: the location was literally right off the beaten path and a bit precarious to find and access. There was virtually no yard. From the back door one walks right into the kitchen table and has to move around it. There were little to no rugs to speak of, storage was sub standard, and the grill had seen better days. Worst was the bedding, and the squeaking bed kept us awake half the night both nights. We did love the hot tub, one of the highlights. The view was stunning but not easily seen.. if a few trees could be slightly trimmed at eye level from the porch it would make a huge difference. We love the general area but prefer to be a bit more off the road. The description was accurate for the layout and amenities. We've already begun searching for next year's adventure but sadly, there wasn't enough draw for us to return to this place.
Nicely setup with all amenities. Weather was awesome so we did not need gas fireplace inside, but enjoyed the fire pit. Hubby enjoyed creating a nightly blaze. Hot tub and stars. Perfect . Road and driveway a bit scary. Thanks that my hubby has 4x4.
Love the hot tub. Only one bathroom was the down fall with 4 people. Like to had something farther away from the road. Was hard to find at night when we came.
