Quiet & charming 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom loft with 45-square meter terrace!

This extremely comfortable apartment combines all of the modern conveniences with a unique design and a fabulous 45-square meter private terrace. The apartment sleeps 6: 2 bedrooms, each with a queen-size bed, and a large fold-out sofa bed in the living room (with a mattress that rolls over the top for extra comfort). The flat also has 2 complete bathrooms, (one with a shower and the other with a romantic bathtub), overhead track lighting, a classic brick and wood, rolling ceiling and a fireplace! The living room, dining room and kitchen are all filled with light.

The beautiful private terrace contains a table with four chairs and a barbecue. There are also reclining chairs for relaxing & sunbathing and an outdoor shower if you need to cool off! A quiet and elegant apartment in the city center, this is a perfect home away from home in Barcelona.

I've only owned this apartment for a short time. I knew that I wanted to get a place near the Arco de Triunfo, as I've fallen in love with the openness of the street Paseo San Juan and its proximity to so many of my favorite places. I had been searching in this area until I finally found this fabulous apartment!

What makes this apartment unique

The flat is both modern and minimalist, yet warm and cozy. The huge terrace, tastefully designed rooms and high beautiful ceilings all combine to make this an extremely delightful and relaxing place for a romantic or family-oriented get away.

Very nice property in excellent location

The Perfect Escape was as advertised. Very updated 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment with nice outdoor deck and well stocked kitchen. The wifi was very good and consistent and the washer/dryer worked well. The main bedroom in the back was very quiet and perfect for extended sleeping.

The apartment is on the first floor up which made it very easy to use the stairs, though there is a lift which is handy when taking luggage up or down. It is located in an excellent area surrounded by restaurants and supermarkets including an organic market next door. The metro is only a few minutes walk from the apartment and taxis are available day and night. The old city and most of the primary attractions are within walking distance but out of the tourist area. A very good value for an extended stay.

Very clean and comfortable!

We just stayed in this apartment, and we are a family of five. It was very clean and spacious with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The kitchen and eating area plus the terrace was wonderful for eat in breakfasts! The location was quiet but still close to most points of interest. Eric is an accommodating and friendly host, giving us tips plus he has a written summary of places to eat at and visit.

Outstanding unit, private yet close to all attractions, easily accommodates couples or family.

Probably one of the VRBO jewels as property is within walking distance of nearly all major sights. We kept talking about how lucky we were to find a unit with the space and the amenities this provides. The unit is clean, functional and well-kept with full-sized stainless appliances, gas range, dishwasher and washer and dryer. Kitchen has large window to terrace making it bright all day. All appliances, dishes and serving utensils were ready to use. Two bathrooms make it easy for couples to share. Two bedrooms with comfortable storage made it feel more like home. Terrace is cool respite from the heat and provides more visiting space. Powered awning provides shade in the afternoon, nice place to enjoy an afternoon or evening drink after a long day sightseeing. Elevator access but unit is only one flight up easy stairs. Apartment is in safe secure neighborhood among local population. Restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores and wine shops abound in the area providing opportunities for many different food experiences. Barcelona is the food capital of Spain, if not all of Europe and our experience in the neighborhood proved it. Owner was most helpful in suggesting activities, restaurants and major attractions. Check in was easy as directions were emailed and manager met us at apartment.

Great property and location

Our family enjoyed our stay at this lovely apartment. It is located in a convenient location close to el born and great restaurants nearby. Also within walking distance to all the sights and offered a quiet reprieve at the end of the day. The owner was very responsive and the checkin process went smoothly with Cinzia. We appreciated the restaurant and sight information from the owner and only wish we had more time to try all of the listed restaurants. Would highly recommend this rental!

Perfect in Every Way

My wife and I had occasion to stay in this wonderful apartment with 2 friends for a week at the beginning of February as well as for 2 weeks at the end of March.

The location is fantastic; with easy walking.access to the Born district, the Barri Gotic and Port Vell, Barceloneta. The Arc de Triumph metro is very close by providing economical access to the rest of the city and trains to nearby villages and towns.

Eric has taken excellent efforts to develop a modern and comfortable space with new appliances, restful beds and a fully equipped kitchen meeting any culinary need. For longer stays such as ours, the washer and dryer were necessary and appreciated.

Perhaps the best feature of this apartment however is the wonderful outdoor terrace, especially in late March as the temperatures warm and the sun shines down

later in the afternoon.

We recommend that guests begin their stay here by walking around the neighbourhood in every direction for at least several blocks out. Find the various supermarkets, fruit and vegetable vendors, cafes and restaurants. Note, there is a fantastic seafood and fish restaurant called Peix d'Or very near the apartment which should not be missed and which we discovered on our last evening. Reconnaissance is a suggested necessity.

Thank you, Eric for accommodating our 5th visit to Barca. We will heartily recommend your lodgings to everyone in our orbit.

This apartment is located only 3 blocks away from the Arco de Triunfo and Barcelona's beautiful Ciutadella Park (with the zoo) and only a 10-minute walk to the charming Born neighborhood in the Gothic quarter, and the very center of the city at Plaza de Cataluña and Las Ramblas. It is also close to two different metro stops, Barcelona's primary bus station and walking distance from the Sagrada Familia and Hospital San Pau, as well as Gaudi's lovely buildings on Paseo de Gracia: La Pedrera and the Casa Batlló.

In addition, there are numerous outstanding restaurants within a short walking distance (I will provide you with a list). Quiet yet centrally located, the area is perfect for a relaxing and exciting get-away!
