Nearby SkyNest you have Torne river which is Norrbottens longest river, about 520 km long.
You can book a lot of different guided tours with us. We have ice fishing, icehotel tour, northern light dinner, wilderness tour etc. Have a look at our homepage www.skyark.se for more iformation about the tours.
The village of Kurravaara is a short walk from our place. There are no stores in Kurravaara
but it is a really beautiful and peaceful village. We are located far enough to have little light
pollution to see the famous Aurora from our site, but close enough to have the convenience
of the city of Kiruna. Twenty minutes from the airport and train station and 15 minutes from
the city with its shops, pubs, tourist information center and church. We recommend a visit down
in the mine with a bus from the tourist center.
River views are free and with some luck the local moose walks across
the river or in the nearby forest - don’t worry they are harmless
