3 bedroom, 2 bathroom with Outdoor Patio
We have a beautiful 1st floor apartment on the Upper West Side. We are 1/2 block from the nicest part of Central Park. We are 2 blocks from the Museum of Natural History. Great shops, most desirable location in the city. 1/2 hour walk through the park to Times Square or 1 block from every subway line.
Upstairs: We have a master bedroom with a king bed and a 2nd bedroom (our kids room) has a queen bed, a twin bed and stairs that lead up to a second twin bed. There is a full bathroom as well.
Downstairs: We have a queen sized temperpedic sofa bed. There is another full bathroom downstairs.
We have a lovely outdoor space with barbeque & patio set. Outdoor space is very hard to find in the city. It's nice to have the space to let little tikes go outside without leaving the apartment! We are on the ground floor...no walking up tons of stairs. Small kitchen with all the necessary items for cooking (although the restaurants are amazing in this area!!) If needed, we have lots of toys and movies for children and a portacrib for an infant or toddler.

Comfortable and accommodating.
Quiet location in a family neighborhood. Plenty of room for our party of six. Sheri was a very gracious host and welcomed us with soft drinks, champagne and chocolates.
Fantastic location, one block from Central Park.
First floor Therefore no need to lug luggage up stairs. Convenient wash and fold on the same block. The home has very comfortable beds and linens. Great neighborhood
Excellent apartment for family
We had a wonderful week staying at Sheri's beautiful apartment. It is very spacious, lots of room for our stuff and play room for our children. It is not very clear from the pictures, but there are 2 bedrooms on the ground floor that can sleep 5 (plus baby) and there is also a basement with sofa bed we didn't need. The kitchen is little bit small but it's well equipped and was more than enough for us. The fact that you don't have to climb stairs to get to the apartment is huge advantage, especially when stroller is in use. We enjoyed the neighborhood, it is very quiet and only one minute from the park. Around the corner you have 24/7 store and a variety of restaurants and coffee shops at Colombus or Amsterdam avenues. The subway station is couple of minutes walk at 72nd street. If you have a car it is not very difficult to find a parking place on the street. When we arrived Sheri welcomed us and the apartments was ready and clean. The information we got from her was perfect. We strongly recommend the apartment for families that want to visit New York and definitely stay there in our next visit. Although it is a review about the apartment, it is important to mention the vrbo service. We needed their service when we couldn't make a contact with Sheri and they promised that we will get answer in 48 hours. We didn't get any answer so we called them again and then it turned out that no one handle our case. It is the worst case when you think that you're in good hands and it appears that your problem is not even taken care.
Apartment was exactly as described -- very comfortable. Absolutely PERFECT LOCATION -- very central, easy access to museums, Central Park, restaurants, groceries, and subway. No AC in basement made sleeping a little warm down there, but fans kept the air moving. (Weather was also unseasonably hot during our stay.) AC in rest of apartment was great. Owners were so accommodating and helpful. Thank you Sheri and Darin for making our stay so comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.
Wonderful place and people!
Our family of five just had the best time in NYC staying here. There was more than enough room for my husband, myself and three teenagers to sleep and also to relax in between activities. The location is great, close to shops and restaurants, Central Park and subway stops. The neighbourhood and back patio feel calm and peaceful. Sheri and her husband made us feel very welcome and were always ready to answer any questions we had. Truly all the comforts of a home away from home!
