About the property

This charming 2 bedroom cottage couldn't be any cozier, and has one of the best waterfronts on the lake. Relax on either the open-air deck or the enclosed porch and view the beautiful, stretching views of Skaneateles Lake. Just steps from your front door is a bubbling brook that runs along the property, and a creekside garden. If you're ready for a relaxing hike, take the scenic trail directly behind the cottage that leads to a roaring waterfall.

Boats can be buoyed directly out in front of the house, and there is a rowboat and kayak right on the beach for your use. A great deal of pride goes into this home, with updates made regularly. Just recently a three season room was added with perfect viewing of the sunset..

The cottage is located on the coveted east side of the lake, just 15 minutes from the quaint village of Skaneateles. This ideal location gives you both the seclusion of an Adirondack atmosphere while still offering the proximity to grocery stores, charming shops, and plenty of a variety of restaurants.

About Tina

My cottage has been in my family for three generations. I take a great deal of pride in my property as I spent every summer there growing up. I live in the cottage for a good part of 6 months (it is not winterized) and only rent from time to time to help with the expenses. It is my piece of heaven and hopefully you would enjoy it for your vacation

Tina purchased this cottage in 1974

Cozy quaint cottage with beautiful grounds.

This is a unique property on Skaneateles lake because it is right on the water. The lake is literally at your front door, and the there is just enough beach & grass for swimming and games. The dock and mooring were perfect for our boat. The cottage came with two kayaks which my wife fell in love with. The cottage itself is very homey and comfortable, with a full kitchen and great areas for relaxing. The owner Tina, was very attentive and added some nice welcome goodies that our son very much appreciated as well as other surprises that added to the enjoyment of our stay. Sometimes it's just the little things, and Tina knows how to play host to her beautiful cottage. We would recommend this to anyone, and hope to return next year for another visit.

Very relaxing. Loved being right on the water.

The cottage had everything we needed. The owner was readily available via text for any questions or concerns. The setting was peaceful and the lake was gorgeous. We looked forward to the beautiful sunsets each evening. It was close enough to the village that anything we needed was only a short trip away. All in all, we had a wonderful stay and we are hoping to return again at some point in the future.

Hidden gem--so glad we found it!

My husband and I stayed here for his graduation weekend from Syracuse for his online Master’s degree. We stayed four nights. We wanted somewhere quiet and peaceful, away from the drunken college life in the town of Syracuse. It’s about 40 min away.

This cabin is beautiful! We built a fire in the indoor fireplace quite a few nights. Everything was silent—we didn’t see a single person or hear a single noise (except some quacking ducks!) AT ALL while on the property. Photos do not do it justice. The lake is basically the backyard of the property. There’s a hammock, picnic table, and outdoor firepit, as well as some kayaks. It had everything we hoped for.

Indoors, everything was clean, spacious. Even though this cabin is in the middle of nature, we did not find ONE SIGNLE bug indoors, which I thought was amazing. The beds were comfortable, and we liked having a full kitchen in case we wanted to cook. Tina thought of everything—a basket of snacks on the table, fresh jugs of water in the fridge, and even freshly baked cookies upon arrival! She also left us lots of brochures and information about hiking, restaurants, and local things to do. She also said we could text her any time in case we thought of questions about where things were located in the house, where we should eat, etc., and it was great that she was so responsive! On top of all that, my husband accidentally left a dress shirt hanging up in one room when we left, and she mailed it back to us at no charge!

We had a great time, and are already planning a visit back to Tina’s cabin for fall next year. This place is truly a hidden gem.
