We are located two blocks from downtown Alameda, walking distance from dozens of proprietor-owned restaurants, bookstores and other shopping options. The beach is half a mile away.
People from all backgrounds are welcome in our home. Guests with profiles and reviews are STRONGLY preferred.
The apartment has two bedrooms, each with queen beds. It has a complete kitchen, including a stove/oven, blender, microwave, coffee grinder, french press, pots & pans and table settings for 4. It also has a washer/dryer. In the bathroom, there is a 72 inch tub for long soaks. The ceiling height is 6 feet 3 inches throughout the apartment and slightly less at the entry doorway. We live upstairs and you will likely hear the occasional footstep (it isn't a cottage in the woods). Street parking is usually found within a block of the unit.
You have access to the entire apartment with a separate entrance. There are no common spaces.
We live upstairs and, if we aren't around for questions, are usually a text message away. We honor quiet time from 10:00 pm until 7:00 am and expect you to as well. Our neighbors who face the unit are sensitive to noise.
There are many lovely places to sit outside and sip coffee or wine within 3-5 minutes walk from our home. We work out of the house and our kids are in school during the weekdays. On weekends and during holidays we are usually home.
