The Salt Flat is a gorgeous, freshly remodeled condo is flat out stylish with the perfect location in the heart of Salt Lake's shopping and restaurant district and literally close to absolutely everything! It is a great nightly rental for a romantic getaway, girls weekend, executive on a business trip or as a ski base camp.

Only minutes from Salt Lake International airport, world class ski resorts, Gateway and City Creek Malls, Vivint Smart Home Sports Arena, Salt Palace Convention Center, the Utah Symphony, Temple Square, food markets and dozens of restaurants! You can walk to everything, including the Utah Ski bus, so no car is required, but if you do bring one you’ll be happy to park it in the secured covered parking.

The Warehouse Condominium building was built in 1910 and served as a grocery warehouse and later as the home of Twirl Town Toys in Downtown Salt Lake City. Located at 327 West 200 South, this old warehouse was converted to loft condos in 1997. This beautiful conversion has a brick exterior and a secured gated entrance. The interior has a multi-level court that opens to the sky and has original ducts, piping and other visible, rustic warehouse features.

This 1100 square foot condo is located on the third floor (yes, there is an elevator) and was fully remodeled in 2013 with top of the line appliances, cabinets, counter tops, floors, and paint. It features exposed brick walls and large picturesque windows.

About Wendy and Ron Flanders

Ron is a Delta Air Line pilot. Wendy is a Realtor specializing in the vacation rental market and is a former vacation property manger.

We have the benefit of traveling often for both work and pleasure. Whenever we visit a hotel, rental home or B&B that we like, we take notes and photos of what makes it special. We've tried to put as many of these special touches in our vacation homes as possible and we are always looking for fresh ideas and suggestions.

Location, location, location! The Salt Flat is close to everything we enjoy about downtown Salt Lake City, yet only 35 minutes to great ski resorts.

What makes this condo unique

We picked this condo because of it's outstanding urban location. We love the fact we can leave the car parked and everything we need is within a few blocks. We've equipped the condo nicer than our primary home so staying in and cooking and entertaining is a treat. If we (we means Wendy) don't feel like cooking there are over 50 great restaurants/bars within a 15 minute walk. Awesome movie theaters and IMAX is a 1/2 block away.

Great Salt Flat!

This is a great upscale condo in downtown Salt Lake City! It is very well equipped with everything that one needs to enjoy a visit to Salt Lake. The decor is amazing. One feels as though you are stepping into "House Beautiful" as soon as you open the door! It is located near the convention center, many restaurants and even a theater and an imax theater! Not only is the condo beautiful and fully equipped with everything including robes and exercise equipment it has beautiful mountain views from huge windows! I highly recommend this condo and I have stayed there several times!

Great unit in a great location.

Fabulous Flat. Everything works!

Stylish and comfortable, this is a very well equipped and clean, fabulous flat. Everything works.

We appreciate the proximity to many good restaurants; especially to the German bakery across the street, Vosen's. Also within walking distance is the post office, the temple square and the mall at City Creek.

From this urban launch pad, it is about an hour's drive to several ski resorts (Alta, Solitude; a bit further to Sundance). Since snow was running out this year (a first for the time between Christmas and New Year's in four years!) we switched to hiking in Zion National Park--and that was a great plan B.

AWESOME!!

Wonderful location for Temple Square activities--we could walk everywhere and also close to highways for traveling further out. The Salt Flat ranked a 5-Star rating for cleanliness and having everything one would need! The hosts, Ron and Wendy were wonderful to work with!

Amazing Loft

Our stay was amazing at this tastefully and carefully designed industrial style loft, located within minutes walk of very trendy restaurants and a mile or two from downtown. I really can't think of a critique. We are hoping for availability for our future trips to SLC.

There are many SLC Bike share stations - http://greenbikeslc.org nearby with the closest being across the street. Buy a pass and have unlimited 30 minute trips. You can park your bike at the many locations around the city, like our favorite grocery stores, Harmon's Market at City Creek or Whole Foods at Trolley Square.

Closer to home there is a small organic market, Jade Market, open 7 days a week, just a few doors to the left of the condo and a block the other direction is Tony Caputo's Market & Deli.
