About the property

Lea House is a 3-double bedroom terraced house in Ware, furnished to an exceptional standard and in a prime location for easy access to Ware Town centre, Hertford and London. It is fully serviced and includes high-speed internet access, Sky-TV with movies and sport channels, Netflix account, XBox console with games and various other comfort conveniences, making Lea House a Home away from Home.

Originally part of the Station Road Hotel built in the 1800’s, it is a grade II listed building, a minute’s walk from Ware Station and 5 minutes from Ware Town centre. It comes with a dedicated off-road parking bay and visitors parking spaces.

Lea House offers modern, open plan living downstairs with the kitchen open to the dining area. The dining area seats 6 and has a comfy sofa facing a modern electric fire-place which can be turned on and off with the click of a button. The kitchen comes with a full complement of kitchen and laundry appliances, Nespresso machine with complimentary capsules and 2 bar stools adjacent to the granite-topped island. A separate lounge/TV room includes a large, wall mounted flat-screen TV, Sky TV with movie and sports channels, XBox console with games and a second electric fire place. The luxury leather lounge suite comes with soft blankets and cushions.

The main bedroom has a Super-King bed, ensuite bathroom with bath and shower and ample built in wardrobe space with built in high definition TV showing Sky and Netflix channels. Bedroom 2 has a bunk-bed and built-in wardrobe space. Bedroom 3 has a King-Size bed and built-in wardrobe space. A second upstairs bathroom offers another shower. All beds have super-comfy mattresses and are fitted with high quality, Egyptian cotton bed-linen. All mattresses and pillows have protective covers which are changed on a regular basis. Bath towels and complimentary bath products are provided.

We take safety seriously and the house is fitted with smoke and carbon monoxide alarms and fire extinguishers. Lea House is fully compliant with gas and fire safety standards.

Lea House has a local manager that is available should you have questions or concerns about your stay. At time of booking, you will receive a confirmation email containing further details of the property, how to get to the property, access the property, contact numbers etc.

Ware train station is a minute’s walk from Lea House and trains run between Hertford East Station and London Liverpool Street Station, stopping at various stations along the way. A 5 minute’s walk will also get you to Ware high street, where you will find a number of restaurants, pubs and other shops. Lea House guests have a dedicated off-street parking space behind the house as well as additional guest bays in the same parking area. A taxi office is also available at Ware Station should you need to arrange a taxi in a hurry.

“I want to note two important things. The first one is a wonderful house in the heart of the town next to the railway station. The hosts were very hospitable and took care of our first minutes. We found the wine on the table and in the very good refrigerator the most necessary products. So, if we arrived very late, we would not have problems with food. At first, I was afraid that the noise of the train canbe heard. Fears were in vain. In the house and in the courtyard was absolutely quiet and nothing hindered our stay. We stayed at the house with my family for 3 nights and extremely liked it. Most of the time our daughter was preparing for the tests, and my wife and I were walking around the neighborhood. That is, we did not go to London, but spent all our time in and around the house. And when we did not go to restaurants, we cooked at home. I should note the kitchen especially. It is gorgeous. The best and modern equipment. It is impossible to come up with a device that you would not find there. In general, the house is superbly equipped with the latest technology. Our friends from London who visit us there, seeing all this splendor, said: "Wow." Grocery stores at a distance of hundred meters from the house. Even a nearby railway station was not a problem but a dignity. To come and go here is extremely convenient. Our daughter, who was returning to the university and our friends, noted the extraordinary convenience of the location of the house. The place is ideal for a family stay, there were no problems whatsoever, the check in and check out were well planned and quick. Thank you very much! The second thing is a very nice and cozy town with a narrow, but navigable river running through it. Picturesque buildings and boats, ancient churches and houses, a lot of pubs and restaurants. Even very cold weather (around zero) did not spoil our impression. We just discussed how wonderful this place can be in the warm season. We want to visit again this beautiful house and in this cozy town.”
