Cozy and endearing cottage. Didn't take long at all to feel comfortable and at home.

  • 5 of 5

Charming and adorable! Bright sunlight, spacious and very clean! Bruno and Cynthia are wonderful hosts, they've thought of everything from some children's toys, plenty of towels to an amptly furnished kitchen and outdoor table and chairs. Bed #2 is perfection. Bed #1 I hear is pretty great too. The washer and dryer are such a wonderful convenience. This is an excellent property and the owners take great pride in making guests feel welcome. I highly recommend 👍𣐽𣑍

  • 5 of 5

Lovely, eclectic cottage on quiet street with welcoming touches like fresh eggs and flowers, coffee, bagels, milk. Fun stay, great hosts. Highly recommend.

Was there alone and felt safe. Clean and comfortable, stocked kitchen, laundry.

Easy walk to Huntington Library and Botanical Gardens or Old Pasadena. Close to freeways, beaches, hiking, grocery stores.

Great vacation home

  • 4 of 5

This property is great for families big or small.. The owners are very flexible and accommodating. The place was clean and well furnished. We got fresh eggs and freshly baked cookies on our arrival. It was a great experience and I wiuld definitely recommend this to others. It is also relatively close to the Pasadena shops.

B Tillman,

The Cottage is perfectly welcoming, ---delightfully appointed with designer art work--pleasing and fresh in every way! The A.C. was used twice, but otherwise was comfortable enough with windows open to a safe, secure and quiet neighborhood. Gathering morning eggs from the 'sisters' was a highlight as well as the convenient two block walk to choice dining on Lake Ave.

old charm of pasadena

  • 5 of 5

spent a few days with the family in pasadena in this quaint and functional home. it brings you back to the days when pasadena was probably a smaller and quieter town. the rooms were well furnished, plenty of space, and the kitchen has everything you need. there is a washer and dryer for the long term stays. a good location that is walkable to cal-tech, grocery stores, bagels, peets coffee, and the famous pie n burger. the host is very nice, and had the AC running for us before we arrived on a 90 degree so cal day. a very comfortable place on a quiet street.

Loved Staying in the Cottage

  • 5 of 5

For our purposes, the cottage is a 5 star. It is on a quiet street just driving minutes from Trader Joes, Whole Foods, restaurants and serious shopping. Bruno and Cynthia, the owners/managers are delightful to rent from. They were helpful and accommodated all of our reasonable requests. They live on the adjoining property behind the cottage. Three of us stayed here to prepare for our daughter's wedding which was at the Arboretum. We organized three events while there. Needless to say, this was somewhat stressful, but the cottage was so well stocked with essentials, almost everything we needed was available. In addition, when stressed out we were able to visit Bruno's free range chickens in our yard and feel the tension disappear.

The cottage is clean and one senses that the owners care about the comfort of their renters. It is an early 20th century home, so if you are looking for modern spacious luxury, it may disappoint, However if country charm, gracious hosts and outdoor yard count, this could be for you.
