Very charming and comfortable house

  • 5 of 5

Five Stars! Very charming and comfortable house, and I loved the painted wood floors. Grafton is one of the most beautiful towns in Vermont and this house is perfectly situated for a stunning walk into town. Highly recommended.

Excellent stay!

  • 5 of 5

The house is beautiful and easy to find! It is charming and quaint with everything you need for a wonderful stay! The bed is comfortable, and there is lots of room to unpack your things. The kitchen has everything you need to cook, and there are plenty of dish towels, sponges, and soap. The owners are responsive and nice to work with. They even called me to let me know that rain was no longer in the forecast! That really impressed me, and I sure appreciated it since we were hoping to bicycle! Grafton is a great location and such a lovely town. The house is only .2 miles from Grafton Ponds, we hope to return to cross country ski. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!!!

Great cabin in the woods

  • 5 of 5

While we traveled to Vermont to snowshoe, Mother Nature did not provide any snow. Joanie was super helpful in suggesting local things for us to eat and do. The cabin fit our family of 4 adults and 2 children perfectly. We were very comfortable here and would stay again. Thank you!

The propert is well maintained, and well stocked with everything we needed.

  • 5 of 5

We, (2 adults and 2 children) enjoyed our stay at this property very much. We found the property to be very clean, and we were very comfortable there. It snowed one night and there was someone there to plow and shovel by 9 AM.

The only down side was that there was no cell service there, so we could not make or receive phone calls, however, we were still able to text.

We would most definitely stay at this property again.

Owner's Response: Thanks and come back soon! Unfortunately, cell service is not good from most carriers but AT&T cell service works great at house and around town. There is a landline phone for local calls (otherwise a calling card is necessary) but you can always use the WIFI to text and have your contacts call the landline, the # is on the kitchen bulletin board.

Beautiful location, comfortable home for a great price

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay at Home Sweet Grafton Home. The owners were responsive to our emails and everything was as represented. Soaking in the big tub was delightful and there was enough hot water to fill it. We will absolutely stay here if we are ever in the area again.

Owner is professional and easy to deal with

  • 5 of 5

Usually I avoid VRBOs due to an agonizing experience I had with a Calif owner some years ago. But some lodging needs call for more than a hotel, and I have rented from VRBO 3 more times. Joan sets the standard for efficient, professional management of her home. Her contract is clear, with cancellation terms unambiguous. She refunded my security deposit promptly. If you can deal with only 1 shower, then "thumbs up" to Home Sweet Grafton Home.
