About Marianne Eskeland & Leiv Kallestad

The house is owned by the Eskeland Kallestad family. We are a family of four from the South West of Norway, and use the house as a getaway from cold and harsh Norwegian weather. We are working in the oil & gas sector and in sports arena management. We spend a lot of our spare time in Norway outdoor to foot or on skis as a family including our dog.

Friends have been visiting us, and close family has used it from time to time.

As owners we like to take care of our belongings, and the house is no exception. We therefore have a strong interest in ensuring that you will get a good experience staying in our house.

Why Marianne Eskeland & Leiv Kallestad chose Finestrat

This is the second house we have purchased in Spain, and its location is only 500 meters from the first house we bought in 2011. We have found at place which provides access to outdoor activities, as well as closeness to beaches, restaurants, shopping and nice scenery.

Villa Paradiso is in the perfect location for us, and the area keeps growing on us as we continue to explore both the hectic life at the beaches as well as the rural mountains and valleys.

The house has easy access from the airport in Alicante, and its closeness to both the stunning scenery and all the activities in the area needs to be experienced. Our Dutch neighbours (for the first property we purchased) travelled up and down the Spanish coast from Barcelona in the North to Marbella in the south in order to find their dream place, and purchased the house next door. No coincidence.

What makes this villa unique

The house is a modern villa with all the facilities and equipment you need to have a great vacation.

It is nicely furnished and has all the amenities you need for a wonderful vacation. Inside you will find attractive bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, very well equipped kitchen, and a central lounge area with a 65" 4K TV, Apple TV, DVD and European TV Channels. There is a separate air condition zone for each room, and temperatures can be set separately. The house has fibre installed with high speed internet connection.

The outdoor space with the patio provides a large extension of the living room, and allows you to enjoy the breakfast outside in the morning, long dinners in the evening. There is a very nice grill which can facilitate your cooking. We have a lovely pool, with nice lounge/Sun beds, and a separate outside lounge area for relaxation whenever it suits you.

The house is located as house number 4 on a row of villas. The villa in front does not have a roof terrance, hence the views both from our roof terrace and the terraces outside the bed rooms are fantastic.

On the left side of the house is a rather large gulley with lots of pine trees which in combination with the private street location offer peace and quit with nice views even from the patio. The higher up you move inside the house the better the views get, and you will feel the breeze and enjoy the panoramic views towards the ocean and the Sierra Cortina Mountains.

The house is located in a prime Costa Blanca location with access to outdoor activities (hiking, golf, mountainbiking etc). Fantastic for the childre with nice beaches, fun parks, animal parks and water parks. You can experience the local food and wine in excellent restaurant in old town Benidorm or in the many villages in the vincinity of the house. Shopping is good. The large cities of Alicante and Valenca are only a 20 and 60 minute drive away respectively. Last but not least, the mountains and the valleys are there to be explored by you.
