About Tracey Keeven

I was raised here on the farm where the cabin is located. My husband and I have lived here since 1991. We both went to the local Steelville School and love our home town. It is a true joy to be able to share this beautiful land with our guests.

Tracey Keeven purchased this cabin in 2013

Why Tracey Keeven chose Steelville

The farm was originally owned by my great-grandfather. My grandfather was born in the original farmhouse, and my mother and her twin sister, as well as me and my daughter, have all grown up here on the farm.

What makes this cabin unique

This cabin is our way of letting other people enjoy and experience the piece of heaven that we have been so blessed to have grown up with. It is truly a spiritual feeling to wake up and see the misty morning sunrises. The peace and serenity that you will find here is priceless in today's world.

Tranquility Base

  • 4 of 5

From the moment we arrived till the last sad moment we had to depart, we have fallen in love with this quaint cabin who brief moment of Tranquility was greatly needed and appropriated ... Thank you Tracy for allowing us the opportunity to share in a bit of your families heritage.

Be back Soon

Lovely cabin in the country

  • 5 of 5

We loved our weekend getaway to the Sunrise Cabin. All you need to cook a fun meal is there in the kitchen and the beds and couch are quite comfy. We drove about 30 minutes from the cabin to Onandaga State Park and spent the day hiking before coming home to spend a quiet evening playing games and of course, relaxing in the hot tub. My personal favorite amenities are the animals around the property. I really enjoyed seeing the mom and baby cows in their pasture, the horses, and the sweet black pup that came to hang out with us at the cabin several times during our stay. Our visit was in early March so the caves were not open and it was not warm enough to paddle the rivers so we hope to come back in the summer.
