About Tracey Keeven

I was raised here on the farm where the cabin is located. My husband and I have lived here since 1991. We both went to the local Steelville School and love our home town. It is a true joy to be able to share this beautiful land with our guests.

Tracey Keeven purchased this cabin in 2013

Why Tracey Keeven chose Steelville

The farm was originally owned by my great-grandfather. My grandfather was born in the original farmhouse, and my mother and her twin sister, as well as me and my daughter, have all grown up here on the farm.

What makes this cabin unique

This cabin is our way of letting other people enjoy and experience the piece of heaven that we have been so blessed to have grown up with. It is truly a spiritual feeling to wake up and see the misty morning sunrises. The peace and serenity that you will find here is priceless in today's world.

Peaceful and beautiful place to stay and relax.

  • 5 of 5

The cabin has anything you need and the beds were comfortable! The view from the hot tub is beyond compare and a perfect place to enjoy a getaway! Plenty of sights to see while walking around the farm. Several nearby vineyards make for some delicious wine tastings. Pet friendly and I brought my dog who enjoyed his time and was interested upon seeing the horses! The owners are very nice and accommodating! Highly recommend!!!

Enjoyed every minute!

  • 5 of 5

A beautiful setting, peaceful, away from the city traffic and sounds, overlooking a pasture with roaming cattle and horses! The cabin was a perfect size for us, we had everything we needed and enjoyed the hot tub on the deck in the cool of the evening. We would love to come back when it is a little warmer, to just spend some time sitting on the deck enjoying the beauty! While there, we enjoyed a trip to Meramec Cave. This place is a real winner!

Wonderful Time

We enjoyed our relaxing long weekend very much. Our dog Freddy made many new acquaintances. We plan on returning this winter. Beautiful views, wonderful hot tub and just a short distance down to the Meramec.

It was the perfect place to get away from the city for a couple of days to relax and unwind.

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was what we expected it to be. The view from the hottub was perfect. The dishwasher wasn’t working during our stay but that was a minor inconvenience. We will definitely stay here again.

The Sunrise cabin was everything we expected: peaceful, quiet, charming. The view from the back deck is breathtaking at all hours of the day. It was a wonderful getaway for two couples. Hoping to stay again as soon as possible.

Very clean setting on the back of a farm. But you felt secluded in this romantic cabin. Great view

  • 5 of 5

A small but lovely cabin with all the amenities we needed. Very clean and well maintained. We took a short drive down to the river and fished and swam by the picnic table and canopy. The hot tub was fantastic in the moon light and the stars were endless. The cabins decor was very detailed and thought out. High end linens and accessories made us feel very cozy. We would highly recommend and would like to come again. We're glad we found this hideaway. Thanks, Jamie and Val.
