5 Star Villa in the Heart of Tuscany!
Everything about the property is amazing. From the private chef (Felly) to the amazing grounds this Villa is your ultimate Tuscan destination. We spent hours lounging by the pool and eating fantastic traditional italian meals and were only about 15 minute drive to the center of Florence where we could visit all the sites we hoped! Can't wait to come back!!
Exceeded all expectations
My family and I stayed at the villa in October 2016. After reading the reviews, we had very high hopes for our vacation, the 8 days we stayed at the Villa exceeded all expectations. The villa itself is pearched on the side of a the Tuscan hills in a place so beautiful that it was quite frustrating that we could never quite capture the beauty in any of our pictures. Being inside the villa transports you back in time, as if you were an Italian royal. We all miss Fely the chef the most. She was welcoming, warm and an amazing cook. We would all recommend spending your Tuscan vacation here, words and pictures will never be enough to describe the perfect Tuscan experience we all had.
Experience of a lifetime!
We saw the website for Villa L’Accursio and knew it would be lovely but it greatly exceeded our expectations. The Villa, the amazing Tuscan vistas and our housekeeper/cook Fely and staff were amazing; the Tuscan food was the best! It is better than any five star resort in the world. Our kids and grandkids had the time of their lives with the facilities: huge eternity pool (cleanest one we have ever seen), tennis/basketball court, trampoline, etc. It is ideally located adjacent to the town of Impruneta and a short distance from Florence. For us this was a trip of a lifetime!
Beautiful property, excellent value
We had a group of 6 adults and 7 children (ages from 5-10). The property is very well managed and maintained. The owner is very reachable in the planning stages. Upon arrival, the villa is beautiful. The rooms are remarkably large and well maintained. They have portable air conditioners in three of the master bedrooms which were helpful for our summer stay. The third floor was a bit hot and we did not utilize those rooms at night due to the heat. The rest of the house felt very good during the day and night even when we stayed in late July and early August. The grounds are amazing. The pool is amazing and is quite large. They had a great pool house filled with waters and they even had children floats which were fun. The tennis / sport court is awesome and was a great get away for the kids. I highly recommend this villa and hope to stay again. Excellent for families or couples. Food for great and Fely does a great job as the cook preparing what you desire. lastly, the location is excellent. Around 20-30min to city center of florence. Close to Greve in Chianti. within 1 hour from Siena or San Gimignana. Highly recommend this villa.
Family with children and grandchildren
We took the lovely Villa L'Accursio in Impruneta Italy for 2 weeks at the end of June and into July. Such a lovely place, such a well appointed house and just a magnificent setting. We had lots of fun! It was hot and the swimming pool was terrific to come back to after tramping around Florence sightseeing during the days. I'll never forget the view from the terrace and our dinners outside looking at the beautiful countryside. The food that Fely gave us was so fresh and delicious it was a joy to be there.
A Slice of Heaven!
A stay at Villa L’ Accursio is a slice of heaven. Our family has taken many vacations around the world, but this villa nestled on a hill in Tuscany is our favorite. The house is well maintained and beautifully decorated. Each bedroom suite is very spacious and comfortable! The kitchen is always a fun place to hang out with Fely the most amazing cook…discussing what meal she would be preparing for lunch or dinner. Her specialty, amongst many, is eggplant parmigiana!!
The villa is situated on a hillside over looking the most beautiful Tuscan landscape of cypress and olive trees as well as the family vineyard. There is a gorgeous pool and pool house that we spent many afternoons relaxing in after a full day touring around the countryside. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed the basketball court and pool table as well as various games on the 3rd floor such a ping- pong and foosball.
The location of the villa is ideal. It is an easy 20 min. drive down to Florence, but also close to many quaint towns with loads of interesting shops, markets, and restaurants. The town of Impruneta is just a skip away and has fresh vegetable and meat market as well as a wonderful bakery, coffee shop and three wonderful restaurants.
We have recommended this special villa to many of our friends and they have also enjoyed family vacations there, and most have plans to return to this paradise again!!
Situated among vineyards and olive groves above the hills of Florence, Villa Accursio offers an incomparable Italian experience.
