About the property

This lovely 1st floor apartment is situated in a quiet, secure complex located close to Pinhal Golf Course, a 10/15 minute walk from the Vilamoura marina, shops, bars & restaurants. Entry to the apartment is via a marble foyer and comprises of an entrance hall, fully equipped modern kitchen with breakfast bar, lounge/dining room, 2 bedrooms with fitted wardrobes, 2 bathrooms (1 ensuite) and 2 balconies, the main South facing balcony having a fixed BBQ and patio furniture. The lounge can comfortably accommodate 6, the larger couch folding down to provide a comfortable double bed. Free WIFI, a flat screen TV showing UK TV and SKY free view channels, a DVD player and an IPOD docking station are available. Guests enjoy a large adult swimming pool and children's pool and play areas, a grassed garden area and a large private roof terrace, sun loungers are supplied. The apartment is air conditioned/heated throughout and secure underground parking for 2 vehicles is available. The new Hilton Hotel & Health Spa is 2 or 3 minutes walk away as are a number of restaurants/coffee shops.

Vilamoura, located in central Algarve some 20 Km West from Faro Airport, is a very popular holiday and residential resort. The Algarve is a golfer's heaven with an abundance of top class courses, there a 5 courses in Vilamoura and a further 16 or so within a 20 km radius, discounts can be arranged for all courses. Other sporting activities available in the resort include green bowling and tennis as well as the various boat trips/fishing trips available at the marina. The Falesia beach that stretches for miles to the West of Vilamoura is a magnificent clean and spacious beach with a number of restaurant/cafes. There is a large water park at Vila Sol some 4 km from the apartment.

For those wishing to travel a trip along the coast and visits to Carvearo, Lagos and the fort at Cape Saint Vincent are highly recommended. The West coast houses a number of beautiful beaches and villages, Monte Clerigo in particular is well worth a visit.

The apartment complex is secure and the pool areas and gardens are kept in immaculate condition throughout the year.

A collection of DVD's, children's games/board games and an extensive paperback library are available. Pool toys are available and are located along with the sunbeds in the garage lockup.

Located in a quiet and established area of Vilamoura we have a number of reasonably priced restaurants within a 5 minute walk and also have an Alisuper (mini Tesco) some 500 metres away.

The apartment serves as an ideal, affordable opportunity for lazy/relaxing family holidays as well as for more active holidays.

Guests are requested to restrict smoking to the balconies. Change over days may be flexible to allow clients to benefit from cheaper mid week flights. During busier rental periods the apartment must be vacated by 10:00 hrs and entry will be from 15:00 hrs. Numerous towels for apartment use are available, linen changes will be mid holiday for rentals in excess of seven nights if requested. Please note we do not supply beach/pool towels. Basic supplies will be provided free of charge and will include toilet & kitchen rolls, salt, pepper, sauces, tea, coffee, sugar etc, we ask that guests replace like for like in the event they exhaust supplies that have been provided. Starter packs can be provided, please request details when making booking enquiries. A cot, pushchair and a highchair are available free of charge on request. Two sets of gents Ping golf clubs along with a choice of drivers/woods are also available free of charge.

Spacious apartment with a great balcony

This was our second stay at Sheila & Ian's apartment and it was outstanding once again. It's a comfort to return to a place that's so spacious and well equipped. It's plain to see the owners take great pride in their property and this is shown in their high standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and additions like a new high chair and baby cot. The apartment block is quiet and relaxing without being subdued. Sheila had the lights on and the place ready when we arrived, which we felt was a lovely touch. Already planning to come back in 2018. Thanks again for a lovely stay!

We had an amazing week at Sheila's apartment. Sheila contacted us before we arrived and gave us lots of information about the area, she also arranged for someone to pick us up at the airport. She even offered to do food shopping for us. She met us at the apartment when we arrived and texted us on a couple of occasions during our stay. The apartment is extremely clean, very homely and very comfortable. We enjoyed swimming in the pool which was usually very quiet. Lots of time was also enjoyed sitting on the balcony overlooking the pool. I would highly recommend this property to anyone thinking of spending some time in Portugal, Vilamoura is the perfect destination.

Wonderful stay in a well equipped apartment

Our family enjoyed a great 11 days in this apartment in March 2016. Sheila couldn't have done enough to ensure we had everything we needed. She was great the night we arrived - we got slightly lost so she came and found us and brought us to the apartment. If you are a sun worshipper like we are you will not be disappointed. Early morning you get the sun on the outside balcony overlooking the road, from early afternoon to sundown the sun is on the large rear balcony that overlooks the pool. The apartment is large, safe and secure: there's underground / exclusive parking which must be an added bonus in summer when it's extremely hot out. We enjoyed our stay that much we sought to book again for 2 months time but unfortunately the apartment is booked up for practically the entire summer. Not surprised really. We have been to vilamoura 7 times now and have never stayed at the same place twice, but we will definitely be back to vilas romanas - thanks again Sheila!

Lovely location, lovely comfortable apartment

I stayed in Sheila's apartment for a week in August 2014, with my wife and two kids. The apartment is perfect for a family break and has two good sized bedrooms. Sheila was also able to provide us with a cot and (very nice) cot mattress, a high chair and a pushchair for our baby.

Excellent location in close proximity to Vilamoura Marina and beaches. Fantastic apartment with a high standard maintained throughout. Wonderful pool area and a great balcony with BBQ area.

I would thouroughly recommend the apartment to anyone looking to stay in Vilamoura.

Sheila was a great host and was really helpful in sourcing the cot, high chair and push chair to make our journey more comfortable. She also managed to point me in the right direction when I forgot my tie for a wedding!

Overall, a wonderful stay and we will definately be back soon!

Lovely, comfortable apartment.

Lovely, comfortable apartment that was really suitable for our family of two adults and two teenage boys (18/14). Met by Sheila and shown around the apartment and given contact details should anything need sorted. Apartment had everything that you would have in your own home, ie washing machine, microwave and dishwasher. Pool area lovely and no need to rush for loungers as each apartment has its own.

No wifi yet in the complex but my sons took themselves off to a local patisserie for their daily fix of a donut and wifi.

Nice location, it was a good 15 min walk, downhill to the marina. Usually took a taxi back but occas walked.

Overall the apartment suited our needs and I would have no hesitation using again or recommending to friends/family.

Fantastic apartment

What a wonderful apartment this has everything you need and more. 2 large bedrooms 1 em suite,both with balconies that got the morning sun overlooking pinhal golf course,very large living room and kitchen with all mod cons washing machine etc.both leading out onto a balcony with built in BBQ overlooking the pool area.the apt comes with2xparking places which we found very handy,the use of its own sun lounges so no rushing round trying to get the best beds.we would recommend this apartment to everyone and will without hesitation be booking again for next year.both Shiela and Ian are very nice people who could not do enough to make our stay special. Vilamoura, located approximately 20km (30 euro taxi ride from Faro airport)) is a very popular vacation resort that has a world famous marina, many very good restaurants, a variety of shops and a casino. For the sports minded there are numerous top class golf courses in the area and other sports facilities include bowling, tennis, horse riding and numerous fishing trips are available at the marina. For the less active the fabulous climate is ideal for lazing by the pool or visiting the beautiful Falesia beach that stretches for miles to the West. The location is ideal for trips to other areas, Lisbon is only 2 hours away and trips to Lagos to the West and the numerous unspoilt villages on the West coast are recommended.

A 25% non refundable deposit is required when a booking is made.Total payment plus a £200 damage waiver are required 8 weeks before arrival. A refund of 50% of holiday cost, minus deposit will be payable should notification of cancellation be received out with 4 weeks from the commencement of a booking, no refund is payable if cancellation is received within 4 weeks of booking commencement.
