Nestled in the beautiful historic district of Washington, NC, your room with a king-sized bed is in the historic Frank A. Moss House is a four-minute walk to, well, everything -- the Pamlico River, the Waterfront Boardwalk, the Washington Harbor District, and downtown Washington with its quaint shops and restaurants. Also, 4 minutes away from Washington, NC Airport; 30 minutes from Greenville, NC and the ECU Campus; 1 hour away from Swan Quarter and the Ocracoke Ferry. Also, we have two cats — Milo and Chessie. If you are not allergic, it’s all good. If you are, know that we take great pains to minimize the cat’s impact by cleaning thoroughly, changing the house air filters regularly, and keeping the cats largely downstairs and away from the guestrooms. But do you want to make sure you’re aware.

About Jeff Furst
Jeff here. My wife Linda and I moved here to Washington, NC because it's exactly what we wanted...a small town with a beautiful waterfront and quaint vibrant downtown. We lived in Raleigh for years and, after scouring the state for just the right place to slow down, we found just the place. We think you'll like it, too.
Jeff Furst purchased this Condo in 2015
Why Jeff Furst chose Washington
Our home, the Frank A. Moss House (a lot of the historic homes here have names) was built in 1902. It's part of the historic fabric of the area and is on the Washington Historic District Walking Tour. It's one block from the water and short few minute walk to the Downtown Harbor District with it's scenic waterfront and docks and quaint shops
What makes this Condo unique
We enjoy the lofty huge brick portico that wraps around three sids of the house. Great place to have a glass of wine and watch the sun go down. Being able to park your car at our place and walk everywhere is so relaxing. The waterfront, the downtown, all the history is right outside our door.

Beautiful house; gracious hosts!
Luxury B&B feel without all the added costs. The red room is very well done and quite gorgeous. We were also impressed with the bed and linens. The Washington waterfront is quiet, although there are several restaurants and shops to wander through. Perfect for what we were looking for. We'd return if in the area again.
Innkeepers were very kind and friendly.
The historic house was charming. We had a large room with bath. The room was well furnished. The mattress was really comfortable with nice linens. Property is within walking distance of waterfront.
We are looking forward to another visit.
Great spot from which to see Washington, NC
You can walk everywhere in town from here. The house is beautiful and the room was very comfortable. The hosts were very nice. If I find myself in this neck of the woods again I would stay here again.
One block from the river and three blocks from Downtown Harbor District with it's quaint shops and beautiful waterfront and public dock. A rare Estuarium that has educational programs and tours. All without having to get in your car.
