More of a Hotel
My partner and I had booked this property under the assumption that it was more of an apartment style accommodation. However it operates more like a hotel. It is important to note that you are not allowed to have guests for dinner or to enjoy the pool. This is something we did not expect when we booked what we assumed was an apartment not a hotel room. It was disappointing as the rooftop area is absolutely stunning with the infinity pool and ocean view. My partner and I were often the only people there, which made it a great place to work remotely. Although we had hoped for a more social accommodation.
The room itself was not very clean. We found a blood stain on the comforter when arriving and had to ask for that to be changed. The beds are very short. We are not tall people, and our feet hung over the end of the bed. The beds are right next to the door which can be noisy when people return in the late hours.
We did experience a few issues with the building manager, both at check in and through the stay. He was very responsive over text but not very proactive in person and quite abrupt with us.
The roosters were not a bother to us, although I was concerned about that. The location was excellent. There is a hill leading up to apartment but we enjoyed the exercise after hanging out at the beach.
