Why Roland Girffin chose Pine Valley
Frank Snow was born and raised in Pine Valley. He passed away in 2006. He always wanted to build a cabin of his own, but was content to just visit the old homestead. We build this cabin in memory of him. We are here every chance we get. We have been exploring this area for years and hope to have many more to come.
What makes this Cabin unique
There is nothing like the views and clean mountain air in Pine Valley. We have been coming here so long that it was time to build here. We couldn't imagine a more beautiful, peaceful spot. We have huge outdoor fire pit to help enjoy the outdoors. Forest Service land is in the backyard so there is never going to be a blocked view.
Couldn't have been better!
There was plenty of room for our group. We had 5 couples & 3 children. Could have fit more. The rooms were large & the beds were very comfortable. Some in our group said that was the best sleep they have had in a long time. The kitchen is huge with room for everyone. Kitchen was also very well stocked. Watching all the deer & turkeys was fun Can't wait to go back!
thanks for the nice review, hope you'll come back again
Paradise in the Mountains
This home is awesome. It has everything!
I loved the fact it feels like home away from home. We found salt, pepper, utensils, towels, everything! No last minute trip to the store because 'x' or 'y' thing was forgotten.
Home has a great view from backyard, deer were roaming around the property at all times all day long. There is a small road in front of home that you can walk up or down for small strolls. Plenty of hiking opportunity in the county. Overall it was an awesome family reunion in a place that super exceeded our expectations of what an accommodation should be.
Beautiful place to relax
We used this house for our couples at a Family Connect Weekend. Very nice with everything needed to get away from it all
Beautiful and peaceful valley
Frank's Dream is well equipped with all we needed for a perfect vacation. The home is clean, comfortable and the kitchen and family room are open for large group visiting and activities. Just bring your food and personal items and enjoy a spacious home with mountain view. Deer are abundant along with wild turkeys strutting through the neighborhood.
We had a wonderful time at Frank's dream. It was beautiful and clean. The beds were wonderful, the kitchen was great. Thank you for sharing with us. We loved it. It rained nearly every day we were there and it would have been nice if the grass in the backyard would have been in better shape. The kids got pretty muddy playing outside. But overall we loved it!
Our second time staying here and won't be our last
This was our second stay at Frank's place and it didn't disappoint. It is as advertised. The home was clean and is well furnished. One of our favorite parts about staying here is the wonderful kitchen and dining area. It is big enough for our whole family to eat together and to cook together. It is well stocked with utensils, pots, and pans. Lots of counter area for prep too. We love the quiet of Pine Valley and going to the reservoir for fishing and the beautiful walk around it. Thanks for another great stay. We'll be back!
The Pine Valley Mountains are small range that rises, 10,365 feet out of the surrounding desert topped with thick forests of pine and aspen. Its pleasant summer temperatures and heavy forestation provide a welcome respite from the hot and arid desert below. The range has a good network of trails for hiking and horseback riding, several campgrounds and fishing opportunities.
