Close to Disney World, quick access to Universal Studios and Sea World. Numerous restaurants and shopping malls close to our home. Mini putting, Go Carts, helicopter rides and much more to explore with the family. Numerous golf courses all within a few minutes drive.

We had a fabulous time staying at 8033 Acadia Estates. We had 10 people (spread over 3 generations) in our group and had a ton of room.



The rooms were a good size and the amount of bathrooms worked out so no families had to share. It was especially nice to have the bathroom accessible from the pool patio.



The kids loved the games room and the pool. We would come home from a Disney park mid-day for lunch and a swim and then head back refreshed and ready for more adventures.



Our host, Mark, was very responsive to anything we needed - including a last minute request for a BBQ. You can tell he's very happy to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.



The location was fantastic. It was a very easy drive to all the Disney parks. With a Target and lots of restaurants nearby, it made life very easy.

Beautiful property, lots of space, excellent location

This was a great property. Wonderful location to Walt Disney World (which is why we were vacationing). The house was described accurately and everything was as we expected. The owner of the property was absolutely amazing. We had to contact him for a couple minor questions and his response time was impeccable. Not only did he respond quickly but he resolve the issues with no questions asked. I would absolutely stay at this property or another property of this owner again.

Not exactly as it appears in pictures

Although we made the most of the accommodations, we felt that what was presented, for the price, was misleading. We also feel that there were too many inconveniences during our stay. The entire place was not cleaned very well. There were dead bugs in corners and on dressers, as well as in the window sill. There were gnats and/or other bugs, that appeared to be breeding in the garbage disposal. Most of the towels on the racks were cheap, tattered, and stained. We did find better towels and the owner sent new ones. They also replaced the worn and stained sheets. Throughout the house, the main surfaces had been wiped down but all the furniture and cabinets need to be dusted. The carpet is worn and dirty looking and needs to be replaced. I reviewed all the information the owner sent and could not find anything that stated what we were responsible for. They should inform the occupants of the need to supply their own trash bags, toilet paper, dishwasher detergent, and laundry detergent. They also might want to supply some portable fans in the event that the AC fails. Considering the return air filter was clogged, failure may be likely. It would also be nice since the upstairs seems to stay warm for a while after anyone takes a hot shower and/or uses a hair dryer. I'd guess it's even worse during the summer months. Had it not been for my knowledge of home networks we would not have had internet. I spent more than an hour troubleshooting. Not what I wanted to do on vacation. There was no light bulb for the "Cars" room ceiling fan light. The owner said it would be replaced but it never was. We never did figure out what the problem was with the cable television. Every time we wanted to watch television, we had to unplug the receiver and then wait for it to go through it's boot process. This was a problem every day. The owner said I would have to call the cable company. Another thing I didn't feel like doing on vacation.

We located the remote for the sound bar, on the second day of searching, but the soundbar wasn't connected to anything. I had to troubleshoot the connections and settings to get it working. Yet another thing I shouldn't have had to do. I don't believe the owner reads the entire email sent to him, as we requested a partial refund and it was ignored, along with several other things mentioned. When he did reply, he didn't answer or acknowledge all items mentioned. This was not a horrible place, but not what was advertised.

Owner's Response: Dear Chad I'm taken back by your review. The last two guests prior to your arrival reported no ssues at all and gave us a five star rating. If the sheets were damaged by the last guests it wasn't reported to me. Upon notification I responded immediately with new linens and additional towels. The disconnected WiFi was done by a previous guest and impossible for us to detect. I contacted Spectrum and they were happy to replace the malfunctioning cable box but need someone to be home to accept the new box as they (and the management company) cannot enter the house if you're not there. Apparently from your note above you didn't make the call to rectify the problem. Home rentals regardless of the company outline what they supply, not what they don't supply. All consumables are the responsibility of the guest. This includes your food, toilet paper, paper towels, hand soaps, trash bags, tisssues, dishwasher tabs etc. This is a well known rental fact! But if you had any questions I was always available! The AC was working fine and each room has a ceiling fans. Supplying additional fans for what may be an issue is not a reasonable expectation. If there is a major failure our management company will supply what ever is needed. The management company was notified to replace the missing light bulb and should have replaced it, no excuse. You mentioned your wife sent me an email twice, when you first arrived, which I told you I hadn't received. You said you were going to resend yourself. I never did get it, so I called you personally to discuss any issues. I thought we had resolved everything. A Wonderful Family Vacation Home

Our family of 6 adults & 2 children spent a fabulous & very busy week in Florida!

So nice to have such a home as Mickey's Haven to unwind after a day at Disney and we

also spent a day or two just enjoying the house & of course the pool! The games room got a lot of use too! From the moment we first contacted Mark to rent this home, we felt vey confident that we chose the perfect spot for our family! All of our questions were addressed promptly! And this continued when we first arrived at Acadia Estates & throughout our stay! The house was clean & well equipped. And we did love the fact that it was a gated community & our house was near the end of a cul de sac! A very safe area! We strongly recommend Mickey's Haven! It is so close to everything---Disney, restaurants! We loved our time spent there!

Great time!

Just wanted to thank Mark and family again for a nice stay - there were a few hiccups here and there due to a storm that had ran through, I believe, before we came - but probably a good thing, because it showed Mark was a responsive owner and communication was not a problem. He also worked with an odd flight schedule we had, so we could all sleep in the final day. All in all, great time and house was as listed - amazing. Could not find the color wheels for the kiddie pool, but it did not matter, because at night - the view of the pool with all the regular lights is beautiful and calming. We hope to visit again - 5 people were on this trip, for those with a "Thanksgiving" crowd of 10 of more...jump on this house. Terrific price.
