Alex Meyer purchased this apartment in 2001
The area here is one of the last laid back residential feeling areas in upper Manhattan which had proximity to all the things I cherish(parks, museums,Columbia U).I wanted to be part of a neighborhood that has flavor and is growing with out being sterilized.Could'nt be happier in Manhattan
My apartment has many arced windows, roof access and a view to the Americas largest Cathedral right from the studio Bay window. The Park is directly across the street and Central Park a stone's throw.I enjoy that it is a new building with the old style charm from the outside without all the slapped together feeling you get in most affordable coops in the city.
Veeeeeeeeeeeeeeery cool couple who give off the aire of being young purpose seekers despite being entrenched in real parenthood.I would love to see these two on their own turf. Félicitez les admirables français
We had a wonderful stay here at Alex's lovely apartment! He was a great host who was keen to give us his insight into the surrounding areas which was a great help. The apartment was clean and tidy, and Alex provided all the necessary equipment one might need for a holiday! The area was great too, with a fantastic community feel to it. Thank you very much for letting us stay, it couldn't have been better! Hope to keep in touch!

the room was nice and fully furnished, we spent 5 days and everything was as described.
the host was helpful , we really enjoy our stay
If you need a fairly quiet place to stay for the night, then you'd be hard pressed to find a better place for this price. It kinda felt like coming back to your parent's house and sleeping in your old room. Even though I arrived early, Alex helped me to park my car which was really really helpful to me. Getting parking spot in the heart of the city is nightmare. But i didn't face that problem. Check-in time was 4 pm but we entered the room at 11:30 am, just imagine how generous he is. He was really kind and Seemed like a really nice person. I'll definitely be staying here again.
Thank you Alex for everything. I appreciate your hospitality.
Alex was a very gracious host and we had a very nice stay in his apt. Thx, Alex!!
My wife and I stayed for a week and had a great time. Location is good, room was big enough for us, wasn't too noisy at night, and the host, Alex , was very helpful with suggestions for things to do or places to eat. Many restaurants nearby. Subway was very convenient. Possible negatives are dog, or sharing living room and kitchen with host, but we saw those as positives, since dog is very mellow and Alex was so helpful. Stairs to fifth floor could be a problem if you're physically limited. Overall, a wonderful experience!
Walking distance to Columbia University and Central Park.Located directly on Morningside Park with Concerts and events throughout Spring/Summer/Fall.Museums all in walking distance(Met,Natural History)
