About the property

Two bedroom/two bath end unit just a short walk to pool and beach

This end-unit condo is the perfect place to relax and take a true vacation. It is located in Seawatch, a small garden-style community that offers rare beach access on the island, just 200 yards from your door. The two bedroom/two full bath unit is on the second floor of a two story building. It has bright and airy contemporary styling, with beamed cathedral ceilings in the kitchen, dining room and living room. The balcony has a great view of the large, heated outdoor pool just 50 yards away.

The unit sleeps up to six persons. It has a master bedroom with queen size bed, a guest bedroom with two twin beds, and a living room sleep sofa. The high end kitchen was updated in 2012, including new cabinets, stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops and washer/dryer. There are new tile floors throughout. Enjoy WiFi and cable TV in the living room (32” LCD, with Blueray DVD player) and master bedroom and a wide variety of DVDs for your enjoyment.

My property is managed by an on island property management company (Berkshire Hathaway) located one-half mile from my unit. They handle all leasing arrangements, deposits and rents, provide check-in information and keys to my unit and will handle any needed maintenance during your stay. The unit will be professionally cleaned prior to your arrival.

As to restrictions, there are a few. This is a no smoking unit; smoking is only allowed on balcony. The condo association prohibits pets.

I have been a IT professional for federal government in the Washington, DC Metro area for the past 32 years. I grew up in Saugus, Mass., and went to college at University of Mass. at Amherst, majoring in veterinary science and geology. I also have a Masters in geology from Catholic University in Washington, DC. I have four children and my third grandson was born last month. My oldest daughter was married at the Marriott Beach Resort which is a 4 minute walk from our condo.

This property was first purchased by my father and handed down to me. As such, I have taken good care of it so I can pass it down to my own children. It continues to be a refuge from the daily grind for myself and my family. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

My boy friend and I had a great time at this condo. It's close walking distance to the beach, which is beautiful. The sunset was awesome - wish my camera could have captured all the colors. There's a long, wide stretch of beach, leading to a bird sanctuary. We especially enjoyed an air boat ride at Corey Billie's in nearby Everglades City, with swamplands full of alligators. There are also many places between here and Naples to kayak, fish, birdwatch, hike, etc. Being the warm off-season, we were pretty lazy, and hung out by the beautiful pool. I love warm water pools. We also sampled many of the reasonably priced places to eat in town. Kirk's Coney Island is a fun place, where Kirk is a fantastic host and often plays guitar. The condo itself was modern, airy and fully equipped. It was very quiet, with easy parking in front of the unit.

The condo's Seawatch community provides easy access to Marco Beach, which is a rarity on the Island. The beach is wide and sandy, stretching over two miles, and includes a bird sanctuary. You and your family will enjoy excellent walking, shelling, and swimming in the azure blue gulf waters. When not relaxing on the beach, it's an easy stroll into town.
