First trip to Toronto. First time booking any kind of accommodation on line, so a little apprehensive as to what to expect. Need not to have worried at all!
Immaculate, clean, bright and very well equipped apartment. Agree with previous reviews regarding the bed and the shower.
We stayed for one week, and had our son and girlfriend over for home cooked meals in our "Home away from home"
Plenty of dishes and space for 4 people to eat.
Outside balcony spacious and a great place to people watch!
Location is ideal....we walked everywhere from the ferry to Toronto Islands to Kensington Market, and everywhere in between. A great walking City.
Overview,reviews and photos all accurate.
Janet the Manager was just a phone call away, and prompt to return calls, as were the owners.
There is absolutely no comparison between a hotel room(Four walls and maybe a coffee maker that works)! and this deluxe apartment you can call home.
Suffice to say, we would recommend this apartment without hesitation, and hope to return next time we visit this vibrant City.
The condo us well appointed, comfortable and conveniently located for seeing Toronto's sights. And, the subway is just steps away. The bed was comfortable and the shower was great--two important elements for any stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Beautifully designed, completely outfitted with every convenience and thoroughly comfortable. This is our third rental from Home Away and as always performed as advertised. The location is not downtown but convenient since the subway is a half of a block and cabs are plentiful. The patio is beautiful and even though the condo is on the second floor it is very quiet. Everything is provided even a full size washer and dryer. The concierge is there 24/7 and the area is very safe. Oh and did I mention that there is a Starbucks in the building-life does not get much better than that. We will hopefully stay there again next year since we had a totally successful experience. Thank you for sharing!!
When I travel, I'm never really comfortable, because it's not home. But I have to say that Class Act Apartment was as close to home as it could be. The apartment is ultra modern and beautifully decorated. It was immaculately clean when I arrived, and the cupboards were stocked with everything anyone could need -- I was worried about what I would have to buy once I got there -- from laundry soap / softener / stain remover to cereal, coffee / tea, cup'o'noodles to iron / ironing board. The airconditioning (during a week when the humidex was 42C) was phenomenal. The huge outdoor patio was a luxury that eliminated that claustrophobic feeling I get from hotel rooms or even apartments with balconies. And the location! Let me tell you about the location. I am a big city boy, and I love being in the middle of the action. This apartment could not be more central. Walking distance to ritzy Bloor Street and, basically, all the other major downtown intersections: College, Dundas and Queen streets (north-south) and Church and Bay streets (east-west). Everything is at your fingertips: restaurants, theatres, every kind of store, pharmacy, groceries, etc. And it could not be more central for transit: the Yonge St subway station is literally steps away, right beside the apartment building, and a bus stop right outside your door to travel east or west (if you don't go 1 stop on the subway to the east-west Bloor subway line). And guess what? It's QUIET! With the windows closed of course, but why open them with the aircon and heat provided? Don't puzzle about staying anywhere else. This is THE place!
I surprised my wife with a trip to Toronto for her birthday. I didn't want to do a hotel because of the cost for staying downtown plus the VRBO option gave us all the amenities of a home (kitchen, outside deck, fireplace, etc.). 'Class Act' definitely fit all our needs. With subway access directly out our front door we were able to get anywhere we wanted with ease. We also had the luxury meeting Cliff and Marge upon checking out and they are quality people and it shows in the condo they rent. We would recommend 'Class Act' to anyone thinking of staying in Toronto.
If you're searching for a hip place to stay in Toronto for a totally reasonable price, there's no point on looking any further. This condo well exceeded our expectations, along with the awesome experience of working with Marjory, Cliff, and the rest of the super helpful and friendly staff. This condo is GORGEOUS - everything about it is new and chic, making my husband and I feel totally "city" every second :) The location is amazing, not right downtown, but on one of the main streets that will easily take you anywhere you want to go. We opted to not drive around the city (there is a reserved parking spot in their lower garage that we just left our car at all week) and instead walked, took ubers, and did the hop-on/hop-off sightseeing bus (which there is a pick-up for literally right outside the condo). The subway is also right next door and will take you all over, but we never ended up using it. Among the hundreds of little shops and eateries, just feet away is "Signs" a restaurant with all deaf servers and chefs, which is definitely a dining experience you don't want to miss! But the greatest part of the stay was the use of their patio - it's huge and inviting, and we just sat out there every chance we got. Meals, and people watching, and reading, and tanning - if we were at "home" we were out there :) It provides amazing views at night, and the sounds of the city while you're relaxing is just so cool. The only thing I'd suggest is that while the apartment itself gets cold very quickly with the AC on, the bedroom doesn't get as much air flow, so maybe bring a small fan if you're a warm sleeper like us :) We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, or recommend it to anyone looking for a unique, bustling city experience while also enjoying a romantic and chic getaway. Thank you so much to Marjory and Cliff for making our first visit to Toronto (and Canada!) one we will never forget! :)
Walk to-Bloor St high end boutiques,Yorkville Ave. fine dining and cafes. Church St village,Theatres 'Eatons Centre Mall Etc Etc Hop the subway at your doorstep to access any other downtown attractions.
