Our amenity filled Lake House Retreat is located in the picturesque Pocono Mountains. Whether you are looking to get away from the busy city life to come relax or you are looking for some outdoor adventures, you have come to the right place! Our home is surrounded by all the outdoor activities you may come to expect from the Pocono Mountains. There is something to do no matter the season, from water parks in summertime to ski slopes in winter and our home has all the amenities to make you feel like at your home. Enjoy BBQing on the spacious deck overlooking Lake Carobeth with your family or friends, lounging on a hammock and drinking some wine. You can take kayaks or a canoe out from private dock. In the winter keep worm by 2 fireplaces while playing pool or chess. You can visit indoor water parks: Kalahari, Great Wolf Lodge, Aquatopia, H2Ooh-all within minutes from our house. You can go skiing at nearby Camelback, Blue Mountain Resort, or Jack Frost -Big Boulder Mountain. If you want to go gambling or dance, here is Mount Airy Casino, if you want a nice dinner out Desaki is a must or one of the restaurants at Mt Airy. You may also take a round of golf or go horseback riding.
If you like a bargain, you could spend the day at the Crossings Premium Outlets or go antiquing. If you are into hiking you may want to visit Bushkill Falls-the "Niagara Falls" of the Poconos. The famous Pocono Raceway is within reasonable distance. The community tons of amenities for kids and adults.
You may cook at home as our kitchen is fully equipped, or go to one of the tons of fast food/chain restaurants: Chilli's, Red Robin, Olive Garden, Red Lobster. You can go to enjoy other local restaurants: Desaki (Japanese), Bailey's Steak House, Pocono Brewery Pub, Smuggler's Cove (seafood) and many more.

Sorry but our house is for non-smokers and No Pets Allowed! Minimum age limit for renters is 24.

Great Lakeside House

You can read all the other positive reviews about this house, and I can tell you they are all true! A lot of nice outdoor seating options, a working hot tub, a pool table - plus a dock to fish from. The kitchen was well-stocked and had everything we needed. BBQ grill worked great. Lastly, the property is also laid out well re the neighbors. No one too close and it’s pretty private. Highly recommended!

Quiet, Private Lakefront Getaway

We had a wonderful family vacation at the lakefront property. The home offers more amenities than other lakefront sites, including the private dock, canoe/kayaks, covered hot tub and sitting area. It offers the best balance of indoor/outdoor activities, perfect for this era's unpredictable weather. We'd consider staying again and trying a different season. The community is quiet and was within easy driving distance of all the essentials. Hosts were very responsive and made everything incredibly easy for us.

Wonderful Lake Vacation!

The property was amazing! The house was comfortable & clean and the yard is well done. The kids loved the various games in the home and being able to swim in the lake and take the canoe out right from the backyard. Adults enjoyed the hot tub at night. Wildlife is a plenty! My daughter has already asked to return to this property next summer :)

We have decided to open up our Pocono's retreat so others can enjoy it as much as we have.
We are both school teachers who love travelling in our spare time. Julian enjoys cooking, fishing, and chess - teaching inner city kids how to play and leading them to championships several times. I enjoy reading, dancing, and gardening as well as taking care of our children.

Why they chose this property

Our neighborhood is a gated community. It is a safe and quiet place surrounded by the beautiful Lake Carobeth. You can find tons of activities and everything is within minutes from our house: kayaking, boating, fishing, rafting, swimming, skiing, golfing, zip lining, back horse riding, tubing, hiking, shopping, biking, and many more.

What makes this property unique

Guests have access to the entire home and lake with a private dock. Feel free to use the BBQ on a deck or the boat and two kayaks by the private dock- we hope you enjoy it! The community has beach with paddle boat and kayak rentals, small snack restaurant, swimming pool and mini golf (at additional cost) open in the summer. Weather permitting, you have access to the playground, tennis, and basketball courts.
Our house offer you everything from linens to hair dryer and iron & board, coffee maker, central heat, central AC, comfortable beds and TV in the living room, the entrance, and in the game room. There is a pool table and a dart board. You can enjoy outdoor grill for your family to enjoy.
