About Lee Anne
I am a mom of two boys, I have a masters degree in Occupational therapy. I play and referee soccer. I love to hike, bike and ski so I am a great resource,
Lee Anne purchased this House in 1998
Why Lee Anne chose Sandia Park Country Club
This was my home for several years I will live here again. With two active boys I needed to be in the city. I had long term renters but they didn’t love it as I do. Every time I came up I wanted to stay but couldn’t. By making it into a vacation home my family can enjoy it too and we love it!
What makes this House unique
This property is amazing! A mountain stream, magestic trees, wildflowers and tulips that come up in the spring. 3 flagstone bridges and beatiful rockwork. You can see a variety of wildlife here. Walking distance or a short drive to some of the best hiking in New Mexico. At 7000 feet it’s nice and cool in the summer, snow in the winter. Well most winters so far none this year.
Minimum age of primary renter:25
I have a cabin also on this property with long term renters. Please do not park in their space and respect their privacy.
Small children must be supervised outside because of the stream and wildlife.
No outdoor fires, sorry The forest is too dry.

A great stay!
Our extended family stayed here for a week while visiting relatives who live nearby. The house was perfect for our needs and we appreciated that each of the three bedrooms had its own bathroom. The bathrooms were also stocked with toiletries and plenty of towels, a nice touch that is not always found in vacation rentals. We were only here at night so didn’t make use of the kitchen but it appeared to be well stocked and cabinets were helpfully labeled. The house is very quiet being in a secluded location and the surrounding woods make it a very peaceful setting.
Lee Anne was easy to communicate with and was very responsive before and during our stay. A great house and highly recommended!
Excellent house with great amenities. Very kind and helpful owner. The only complaint was the fly in the kitchen but I think it has gone now. Would definitely stay again and recommend it.
Summer Retreat for the whole family
We travelled to NM in the summer because we love the weather and mountains. Our entire clan consists of 5 kids with 5 different ideas of “fun”. The house was a success with everyone. The house was clean and open. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was great to cook in each night. There were plenty of games and space to spread out when it was needed. Cornhole was a nightly activity for the whole family. We even got some running in throughout the hills in the neighborhood. Heading into Albuquerque each day for some sightseeing was an easy drive and it was nice to retreat to the Eastside of the mountain each evening. Thank you for hosting us and we will return!!
We are so glad we stayed here. Awesome location & setting and the place was in perfect condition. Thank you so much!
The house is hidden among trees so appears very private. It's quite and peaceful. There's plenty of room for the whole family. We brought our daughter and grandson (almost 16) with us and he wasn't bored (says a lot!). There's a beautiful view from every window in the house. Each bedroom has it's own privacy. The family room has loads of room and is open to the kitchen so while I was cooking breakfast or dinner I was able to visit with everyone. We enjoyed our evenings snuggling up on the couches and watching movies. We were about 30 minutes from Alburquerque and Santa Fe. We also drove up to the top of the Sandia Crest, what a view! The house was clean, the beds were comfortable. There were plenty of clean towels. Lee Ann had left us Chips & Salsa as a welcome when we arrived. Everything was perfect. I would definately stay here again and would recommend this place to my friends and family.
Quiet Retreat & Close to Hiking Trails
The house is spacious and comfortable is exactly as pictured, and has all the basic necessities. It's close to hiking, so we were able to walk to Cibola Nat'l Forest each day. What a treat.
We had the pleasure of meeting Joann on the way out. She's super nice, sincere and hospitable. We'd definitely stay here again!
Drive to the East mountains on old Route 66 along the musical hyway This gem of a property is located along the turquose trail. Santa Fe is a breathtaking 45 min scenic drive away. One of a kind Tinker town museum walking distance away. Challenge yourself by biking 13 miles to the top of Sandia Crest. Hike or drive to the top the view of Albuquerque is amazing. So many things I have many listed in my home Manuel.
