Currently rated #3 in all of Colorado Springs, our VRBO offers an exceptional value and has received excellent ratings!

Experience panoramic Mt. views from the top floor of this newer home which enjoys easy access to shopping, dining & recreation, including nearby Springs Ranch Golf Course & an IMAX theater. This house is conveniently located near 3 pocket parks w/swings, slides and climbing structures. It is also just a few miles east of the Powers corridor which leads directly to the Colorado Springs Airport. Drive 15 miles west and experience the Garden of the Gods, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Cave of the Winds and endless hiking trails!

Light & Bright home with views of the Front Range Mountains! Four bedrooms on upper level and one bedroom on the main level.

The main level bedroom has a double/full bed, newer dresser w/ matching nightstand and a large bookcase. It is conveniently located next to the 1/2 bath.

The Master Suite, located on the upper level, has a Saatva California King bed, 58" smart TV, newer ceiling fan and an en suite which boasts a walk-in closet, soaking tub, two sinks and a shower!

Next to the Master Suite is the corner bedroom which we have nicknamed the "Ocean Room". This spacious bedroom offers fabulous views of the Front Range Mountains, a vibrating Queen size bed, newer dress w/ 2 matching nigh stands, and a tall bookcase.

The middle bedroom, nicknamed the "Tree Room" also offers view of the Front Range Mountains. It has a Queen size bed, elegant tree art work, large nightstand and sunrise alarm clock.

The fourth bedroom on the upper level is a corner room, which also boasts views of the Mountains, offer a Queen siz bed, writing desk and chair, plus a walk-in closet. It is conveniently located next to the hall bathroom and upstairs laundry room.

Enjoy over 2,400 sq ft of this three level home. You will have access to the upper two levels of this three story house - the main level and second story. the deck directly off the Kitchen and the back yard. We have two games in the backyard for your enjoyment - Corn hole, otherwise known as Bean Bag Toss and the Ladder toss game!

We reside in the walkout basement when we are in town. We access the walkout basement through a separate entrance in the back of the house. If you need anything we are a phone call/text away. Please do not hesitate to contact us. Although we reside in the walkout basement, we lead busy lives as we both work, like to socialize with friends & family and travel as much as we can. Our adult children live a few miles away and are available if you should need anything in the event we are out of town. We do not have any pets nor do we smoke.

About Wendy & John

John works at a local ministry here in Colorado Springs & Wendy is a Realtor and works part-time at the US Air Force Academy. We love traveling and prefer staying at VRBO's if we have the option. We enjoy hiking, walking, reading and hanging out with the Kids and Grandchildren.

We had a 5 star VRBO in an older neighborhood here in the Springs, but decided to sell it as the Real Estate market was so hot! We enjoying hosting Airbnb guests although we rarely ever meet them face to face : )

Why Wendy & John chose Colorado Springs

We purchased our home in 2014 and remodeled the 1,000 sq. ft. walkout basement to include a kitchenette, laundry room and SEPARATE entrance. Our dream was to reside in the walkout basement and rent the upper two stories of our beautiful single family home to guests at a reasonable price : )

The VRBO boasts a Master suite with a newer Saatva California King bed, walk-in closet, spacious bathroom with 2 sinks, a shower and a soaking tub. The other bedrooms on the upper level have Queen size beds and share a bathroom with 2 sinks and a tub/shower combo.

The main level bedroom has a Double bed and is located directly next to the half bath. Also located on the main level is the Eat-in Kitchen, Family room, Dining room and Living room. The well designed Kitchen boasts stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and large pantry. The Kitchen opens to the Family room which has 2 couches, a recliner, a flip-the-switch fireplace and 65" TV.

The separate Dining room is conveniently located between the Kitchen and Living room and has a table that seats 8 people. The deck, which is located directly off the Kitchen, has a newer patio dinette set with comfortable cushions and an umbrella : )

What makes this house unique

This house is close to dozens of Restaurants, great Shopping, an IMAX Theater, Miniature Golf Course & Sports events (Baseball & Soccer). It is less than a 30 minute drive to Garden of the Gods, USAF Academy, Peterson AFB & the Olympic Training Center.

Regarding Spa: We belong to VillaSport which is a fabulous athletic club & spa, checkout it out at VillaSport.com. If we are in town during your stay we can arrange to meet you there if you would like to use the facility. VillaSport does charge a $25 fee per person per day to use the facility which includes workout equipment, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, sauna, etc.. the Spa services are additional.

Very nice roomy house it was perfect for the whole family!

The house was amazing, we really felt that welcoming feeling, I felt as if it was our own home, in a great clean neighborhood, very close to lots of stores and shopping centers, overall was a amazing experience will be sure to hopefully have the chance to stay here again on our next family vacation!

The house was absolutely beautiful and meticulously clean!!!!

What an awesome experience!!! You get so much more than you pay for with this house ! Every room is nicely decorated. Every bad was incredibly comfortable. John and Wendy went above and beyond leaving snacks and toiletries for my family to use. This is by far the very best vacation rental I have EVER stayed in. Huge thanks to the owners for hosting my large family during my wedding weekend 😍?

This property is perfect for a family. Spacious and very clean. Great location and quiet.

We enjoyed this beautiful property during our family vacation. Spacious and clean. The neighborhood was quiet and close to grocery and shopping. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. We took advantage of the pantry goods. Our kids were excited with the snacks and candies the owner left for us. The owners had everything from a bouquet of fresh flowers to toiletries. I would recommend this property to anyone that would enjoy a spacious home a short drive to downtown. We had movie and game nights that the home was supplied with. I enjoyed reading books on their shelves and cooking in a great kitchen. It was a nice relaxing place to spend time together when we weren’t sightseeing. Thanks John and Wendy for sharing your home with our family.

The home was beautiful and super clean. All of the beds were extremely comfortable. The owners addednice touches such as coupons and brochures for things to do. I would definitely recommend this property.

Amazing Rental!

John and Wendy treat you like you're in a high end hotel. The house is amazing, in a quiet neighborhood in Colorado Springs. Everything is clean and comfortable. You open the pantry and it's stocked with all the essentials. Would have loved to have stayed longer!
