Great property

  • 5 of 5

We had a great stay at Pine Lodge, with a lovely welcome basket full of goodies awaiting our arrival. The cottage is very well equipped, would definitely recommend. Our son especially loved the football table!

Very comfortable, well equipped and full of character.

This is a lovely property. The owner is friendly and helpful but not intrusive, and the welcome basket of food was a thoughtful touch as well as being really useful.

Charming cottage

  • 5 of 5

Loved this cottage and can't recommend it enough. The welcome basket is great and David is very welcoming and helpful. The cottage is equipped with everything you need. Works well for a family. Great location, a short drive from Peebles. The only issue we had was setting the water temperature of the shower, tended to run too hot or too cold.

Owner's Response: We’re glad you enjoyed your stay. Sorry about the shower it became faulty on the day of your arrival. We have replaced it with a brand new Mira shower. Thanks for the review. David.

Wonderful property and amazing surroundings

  • 5 of 5

my husband and I stayed here for a short break at the end of May to celebrate his 50th birthday and to do some running and cycling etc. Pine Lodge is a lovely two bedroom house with plenty of storage space for bikes etc in the garage attached. It has a large comfy living room and a well equipped kitchen with everything you could need. There is a double bedroom downstairs as well as the bathroom and a large bedroom upstairs which can be configured a whole host of different ways, depending on who is staying. The owner, David, is very welcoming and has a lot of local knowledge with regards to any walks, cycles places of interest etc. There are also lots of maps, books and guides in the cottage with useful information. David also provides a really handy welcome basket with a few essentials to get you on your way. The area is lovely and peaceful and there are some excellent running routes and also cycling nearby. Edinburgh is only about 15 miles away which is really handy for a day out. Just watch out where in Edinburgh you park, as some of the carparks are really expensive. We had fantastic time, and will certainly book again, next time we are up in Scotland.
