Pharaoh View Lodge is a large Adirondack camp suited to be used by a large/extended family, several families, a retreat or business group, friends for a reunion or a religious group, all of whom are looking for a facility large enough to accommodate a group of up to twenty-eight persons.
In addition to the multiple bedrooms and baths(see parapraph below*), the smoke-free lodge houses a modern kitchen,a dining area that looks out upon an open deck and the beautiful lake and mountains, and a large adirondack living room with a stone, woodburning fireplace.
Guests can enjoy Brant Lake both Summer and Winter. Ice fishing is popular in the winter and water sports dominate during the summer. Gore Mountain ski resort is twenty minutes away and Lake Placid is a little more than an hour drive time.
Queensbury's discount shopping malls are nearby and the social activities of Lake George are less than 30 minutes away. Hiking trails, mountain view rides, quaint villages, rolling streams and lakes and an occasional viewing of a black bear or wolf are all part of the beauty and pleasure of a vacation at Pharaoh View Lodge.

We had a great time and the house was beautiful. Unfortunately we had one rainy day, but the house is so large there was plenty of room to roam. We are looking forward to going there again.
We stayed for a week in July. We were 25 close family and friends and incredibily still are (which had alot to do with the layout and location of the house). The guests ranged in age from 1 year to 77, all had a great time. The house is both cozy and yet you still can not find people at times. The living room was refered to as the "Land of the Lost", because if you could not find somebody they were generally hiding in there in one of the corners. The accomodations are very clean and up to date. The number of activities both on the property and within 20-30 minutes drive were more than we could squeeze into a week. We haved stayed in the Lake George/Brant Lake region many times over the years and this was by far the best experience. One draw back though..there was only one wine glass, but we made due. The group favorite at the house was the dock that enabled us to make use of our boat and at night the fire pit. Highly recomended!
I'm trying to reach out to owner since two weeks but no response, can some one let us know the contact number so that we can reach out to owner and book this property. we are only interested on this property because we have 10 families planning to visit Lake George which will completely fit in this property.
We stayed here for the labor day weekend- 5 families- 10 adults and 10 kids. We had a fantastic time. the pictures provided do not do full justice to the house. We had so much space and the boats were amazing. Kitchen had everything we needed and more- we cooked most of our meals. The only small hitch was this was an unusually hot summer and the air conditioning was only available in 2- 3 rooms. There are so many outdoor activities nearby that 3 days were not enough.
Pharaoh View Lodge is an amazing place for the whole family! We arrived with 17 adults and 5 children (aged 2 to 12) and enjoyed every minute. For such a large home, it is extremely quiet inside. The rowboats, kayaks, canoe, swimming dock, and beachside fire pit kept everyone entertained for hours. With the long back yard to the beach, we didn't have to worry about the smallest ones getting to the water without an adult. Trips away from the camp included hiking Prospect Mountain, the Wild Walk, Ausable Chasm, fireworks at Lake George, bingo at Horicon Fire Hall, and the more physically fit members of our group enjoyed Adirondack Extreme Adventure. Plan ahead if you want to rent a boat from the marina - we didn't. I would recommend this property to large family groups that like to enjoy time together inside and out!
After reunions for 30 at various locations throughout the United States, we've decided we love Brant Lake best. Family members came from California, Missouri, Georgia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. Two of my cousins went out in the canoe and fished every morning, making sure their lines were in the water when the sun rose. This was after staying up until about 3AM playing Caverna in the large Great Room. Most days they also went out in the evening to fish. That fishing license was so worth it - they caught lots of perch and some good-sized bass every time! We all enjoyed tasting that fresh fish from Brant Lake. The kids loved the swim dock, rowing out in the various provided kayaks, canoes, rowboat, and paddleboat. We rented a motor boat, 2 more kayaks, water skis, and a tube from EZ Marine. People had a fantastic time on the water! The grandparents managed to make it down a few times to enjoy the beach too. Not a day passed without an art project or two on the large deck overlooking the water. My 75-year-old father napped in one of the Adirondack chairs every day, enjoying the beautiful scenery and the sight of everyone playing on the water and in the large backyard. There were many Nerf gun battles and Capture the Flag games. We built a fire almost every night in the large firepit, roasting marshmallows most nights and once roasting cinnamon roll dough (it kept falling into the fire). With the absence of light pollution, we could clearly see the Milky Way and many many constellations every night. Kids lay on the dock and just watched the sky at night - a special experience especially for those from big cities. With 4 refrigerators, we had no trouble having enough room for all the beverages and groceries we needed. The kitchen is very nicely equipped for cooking, which we greatly appreciated. We did our grocery shopping at Walmart. We picked blueberries and cherries at Hicks Orchard, went to the Great Escape Six Flags Park, and visited the Crossroads (a fascinating store) in Chestertown a couple times for soft-serve, growlers of beer, and random stuff. The house was so much fun we didn't do much else. Even though we had planned on it, we did not visit Fort Ticonderoga or go hiking at all, so we HAVE to go back! Our next reunion is 3 years away, but we're already thinking we'll do a repeat visit to Pharaoh View Lodge. Thanks to the Kehoe family for sharing such a special place with our family.
Our group of 7 couples go away this weekend every year. This was our 24th annual weekend and our third time staying at Pharaoh View Lodge. It's the perfect size with plenty of places to divide up if the group has different interests. This was important as the Saturday of our stay was pouring and we couldn't be outside. There is lots of space, corners and nooks and crannies to play games, have quiet conversation, nap, etc.
The Great Room furniture is comfy. We had a fire roaring in the fireplace. Because we cook our own meals, we were happy to have the extra stove and refrigerator on the porch. The kitchen is well equipped and our group rarely finds a table we can all eat at, but there's a perfect one here looking out over the lake.
There's a washer/dryer although for two nights, we didn't use.
Due to the weather, we did not take out any of the boats on the shoreline...canoe, rowboat, pedal boat, etc. but we did find a sunny couple hours to play volleyball at the court near the lake. It's a very peaceful area. There is a market and Stewart's shop within a few miles.
Our dealings with the owner have always been pleasant.
