As a native to Arizona, I was born at Scottsdale Osborn Hospital and have lived in Scottsdale, Arizona my entire life. My husband is from Nebraska, obviously a big cornhusker fan! We built this cabin in 2008, and after a few years of enjoyment, our children began their involved in sports and our free time in Williams dwindled. We decided to open our home two years ago to renters and share the Williams experience with others, and so far its been a delightful experience.

The cabin was very nice. Great decor, and lots of room to spread out. I enjoyed using the kitchen for some of our meals, and the grill was great too. It was easy to find, and a great home base while we took day trips to visit the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam. I also appreciated using the laundry facilities. We even took a day to just relax at the cabin while we were there, a great way to end our vacation! Thanks.
Overall the stay was great and were initially greeted with flowers and cookies!
Property: The property is gorgeous, flat and set back from the road. The only downside is that there are no trees. You can go for a short hike and get into the forest for the nature lovers. There is a great hill on the backside of the property that worked perfect for sledding if you are there with snow. Plenty of space outside for activities. 5 miles to town for grocery runs or lunch/dinner.
Space: There is a ton of common space upstairs and downstairs for large parties! There are some games available, bring your favorites. There is a gas fireplace, but it required patience to get it to work. There were 3 main bedrooms, all with an en suite and down comforters. There was also another loft bed setup with 2 beds, along with pullouts up/downstairs. If you are staying in colder months, you may want to bring an extra blanket for those staying on the pullouts as those do not have down comforters. Attached garage to park 1 car if wanted/needed to keep out of the snow. The kitchen worked well and had plenty of dishes for all, though there are not enough of the same dish for all.
Electronics: For those that "need" TV, there is satellite, though you may need a engineering degree to figure out the sophisticated remotes to work them. The downstairs TV did not work, though we were not there for the TV. There is no WIFI, but why are you renting a cabin in the first place. Washer and dryer is available for use.
Lighting: Most of the lighting worked great There was 1 bulb that was out, but there was a closet with spare bulbs so we took care of it ourselves. The exterior lights on the back deck did not seem to work, or we could not find the switch. This would have been nice for the fire when making smores, but again, we made it through with a little extra chocolate and marshmallows on our faces!
Cleanliness: Overall the place was clean. Not sure how frequently anything gets dusted, there is a pretty good layer on all light fixtures and the return air register. Popular kitchen dishes and utensils were clean, where less used items needed some attention.
Issues: The foundation, yes, there is an issue...for the owner. It didn't cause any issues for our stay. The back deck lights, maybe the hidden switch could have a label on it. The cleanliness, while this did not ruin our stay, dusting needs to happen more often...again this is a cabin so it was not a deal breaker
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this location. The home was very nice with a higher end feel. Very quiet, peaceful, and beautiful surroundings. The owner was also accommodating to our group and willing to work with us. We will certainly consider renting this location again when/if we decide to vacation in the Williams area again. Big thank you to the owners.

Was a beautiful house but a lot of broken things. The tv with the only dvd player was not working which didn't let us watch polar express with the kids for our polar express trip. The fire place didn't work. One of the burners on stove was broken. The house was in terrible need of a humidifier too as the heater really dried out the air to where we were all hacking and coughing from the dry air after a couple days. And feel sorry for the owner as the houses foundation is dropping at such a slope that if it gets any worse they will need to put a sign in the living room to remind trucks to use lower gears for downhill . It was a beautiful house though on great property and with some better maintenance of the house the review would be a lot better.
well presented property Great interior and some interesting wall mounted decorations :-)
We had the BEST weekend staying at the cabin. It was absolutely gorgeous and far exceeded our expectations. They even went the extra mile and decorated for Christmas and all of the bedrooms had fresh flowers in them. We will definitely be back! Thank you!!!
