Maison Versailles is a historic French - Victorian home built by a famous Architect. Heliodorus Laberge gave a neo-Romanesque look at this property using arches highlighted by a brick contrasting color. The corner tower, pierced by a group of three small windows, and the porch enclosed by arches are also references to the medieval romance. It was owned by Séminaire de Québec appointed by the King of France and than the french aristocrats.
It is next to a large urban park on Plains of Abraham commemorating the battles of 1759 and 1760. where the french lost Quebec to the English. Officially recognized by UNESCO in 1985 as a world heritage city.
A 3 minute walk and parallel to the historic Plains of Abraham & St. Lawrence River and in downtown Old Quebec City. Grande Allee also known as the Avenue des Champs-Élysées, the most famous street in Paris, France. With its cinemas, cafés, luxury specialty shops and clipped horse-chestnut trees, the Champs-Élysées is la plus belle avenue du monde ('the most beautiful avenue in the world').
Your stay at Suite Versialles, you share in the history with the Séminaire de Québec and the Aristocrats who shaped what Quebec City is today. In 1985, Quebec City was given the official world heritage status by UNESCO.

My husband and I rented maison Versailles and appartment Frontenac to accomodate our Canadian-German families (total 10 people) during our stay in Quebec City. The space is perfect for large family gathering with a large dining area and living room. Everybody loved it. The house is elegant, clean and comfortable. It is extremely well located. The owners welcomed us and were very helpful throughout our stay. It is a must try!
The location was perfect! The accommodations were very comfortable for our party of 6. We really enjoyed our stay and would consider renting it again.
I just spent 5 days at this property with 8 other friends. It was marvelous. The location can't be beat. 5-10 minute walk into old town and 5-10 minute walk to other neighborhoods. We rented both apartments (downstairs 2 bedroom and upstairs 4 bedroom). It was clean and well furnished. The high ceilings, wood floors, window seat, large wood doors all added to the charm of the property. Chris met us when we checked in and gave us a great overview of the city and great recommendations. He could not have been more accommodating. The huge dining room worked very well for our group to do a dinner in one night. The kitchen can be tight for a large group but it is well stocked, clean, and met all of our needs. I would highly recommend this property.
We five women stayed three nights in this spectacular, historic, spacious apartment within walking distance of Vieux Quebec City. Plenty of room for all of us. Comfortable beds, air conditioning, quiet building, two bathrooms. Small kitchen but plenty of cool restaurants in the area. Check out Rue Cartier for good eats.
Nina and Chris were very helpful and responsive to our questions and concerns. As this is a building that's over 100 years old be aware that the plumbing and electrical are added and can be temperamental. We only had one water issue and Chris dealt with it promptly. Also there are a lot of stairs so it may not be suitable for all people.
We loved the grandness of the place, the high ceilings, the architectural details and how close we were to the Old City.
great location. staff was very helpfully on phone arranging our stay, and meeting us day of arrival. Proximity to the plains of abe was great. would definitely stay again.
My family of six with several teenagers absolutely loved 525 Grande Allée Est.as our home away from home (comfy beds & nice furniture). We happen to visit during the music fest. so got the extra treat of being smack dab in the middle of so many live concerts, even though the condo is exceptionally quiet on the inside! Walking to/from Old Quebec is an easy jaunt. Nina & Chris made our check-in/out very smooth & thankfully, there was a secure parking spot for our Yukon XL Suburban. Neighborhood is safe so kids can explore independently. We've all decided this was our best vacation ever and this condo couldn't have been more perfect.
