Located just minutes south of the city of Mccall. Payette Lake, Ponderosa State Park, Mccall Golf Course, Brundage Mountain Ski Resort, just west of Jug Handle Golf Course, and north of Tamarack Resort.

This magnificent cabin comes equipped with everything you need to unwind for a perfect getaway.

Relax on Brookdale Lodge's 4 private acres with pristine views of the majestic Salmon River Mountains and West Mountain Range.  Roast marshmallows and make s’mores over the fire pit, play volleyball on your own private sand court, grill in the outdoors on your choice of propane or charcoal grills, and soak in the surrounding beauty and view the stars by night from the private hot tub on the large deck.

Inside, on the main level, you'll find a fully appointed kitchen with quartz countertops (second fridge steps away in the garage), a large main-level living room with a cozy pellet stove, large flatscreen TV with satellite, surround sound and "smart" blueray DVD player.  The large master bedroom includes a luxurious, designer king-size bed and the master bathroom has tiled floors, quartz counters, a walk-in shower, jetted soaker-tub and a large walk-in closet. There are also two private queen bedrooms on the main floor that have access to a full bathroom.  Upstairs you'll find another living room/TV room that is a separate room and excellent for watching TV and for kids to play in as it has a Roku TV (smart TV) satellite and an X-Box 360.  In the large loft area there is also a pool table, additional couches and a foosball table.  Lastly, there are two large family rooms; one has a queen bed and two twin over twin bunk beds and the largest bedroom has 3 queen bunk beds on the bottom and twin beds on  top.

Guests love that they can bring their toys and trailers without having to worry about where to park them or turn large trailers around, as there is ample parking on the paved circular driveway and other designated areas around the cabin.  If you enjoy mountain biking or golf, Jug Handle Ranch offers exceptional trails and an amazing course just 5 miles due east.  Brookdale Lodge is centrally located a short drive to four local golf courses and is located a short drive from access to snowmobile, ATV and UTV trails. It is also situated midway between Payette Lake (McCall) and Cascade Lake (Donnelly/Cascade/Tamarack).

We allow events as long as there are no more than the maximum number onsite than are advertised as allowed for the property.

About Frost Management Company

We bought Brookdale Lodge as our personal family cabin, with the willingness to share it with our friends, family and other families. We have made friends from all over the world through renting our cabin. We're sure you'll enjoy staying at Brookdale Lodge and will have a great time in the McCall area.

Why Frost Management Company chose Brookdale Meadows

Over the years we have spent a lot of time in and around McCall with family and friends. From helping build and repair other people's homes/cabins or exploring the numerous trails in the summers, to snowmobiling to back-country hot springs and skiing in the winter, this has been a place we keep finding ourselves drawn to. Purchasing a cabin in McCall made a lot of sense because we like being with family and friends- it's really easy to entice people for a visit when they find out they get to come for a visit in McCall!

What makes this cabin unique

We enjoy the beauty of the surrounding area. We feel like we're in the woods (we're really close) but are so close to town, skiing, snowmobiling, the waterfront and so many other activities this is the perfect home base for a weekend (or longer) getaway for us. There's enough room in the cabin that we have found space for all sorts of indoor leisure activities too.

Guestbook comments from the owner

This was our second time staying at Jonathan and Marta's place in McCall. We have an annual get together with four other couples and some of our grown children. We love the open floor plan, which means we can all gather around the dinner table or in one of the living rooms. The location is heaven. We liked that it's not right in town, as it felt like a private getaway. We particularly enjoyed the beautiful views of Brundage Ski Resort out one set of windows and of Tamarack Ski Resort out the adjacent windows. We love skiing, so this was a lot of fun for us. We appreciated that this cabin has every cooking appliance we needed, as it meant we were able to prepare some fun meals together. We'd recommend this lodge to anyone that wants an amazing experience while staying in McCall.

Great place for a family getaway!

  • 5 of 5

We've stayed twice at the Brookdale Lodge and both times have truly enjoyed our stay. For a large family this location has everything you need...enough beds, plenty to do, full kitchen and plenty of space. I would highly recommend for a weekend getaway. Jon and Marta are very easy to communicate with and Jon even came to our rescue on a few items. Will for sure book again!

lots of things to do. kept us very entertained. had to use the pellet fireplace the first two days and it did not work well. it was hit or miss if we could get it to work. the hot tub was great except for the frogs. one was dead in the water on the third day. others just sitting on the top edge. kinda slimy. firepit was great. we left you some kindling. the family enjoyed the volleyball court. we bought some ping pong balls for the table in the garage.all in all the family thinks we should do this more often.

Owner's Response: I’m glad your family wants to do this more often. This was a very cool, abnormally wet spring and early summer, which lead to a period of about 2 weeks where we noticed small frogs around. The last group that stayed had kids that loved the little guys. This is just life in the country/mountains. The pellet fireplace secondary fan (makes the flame larger) is going bad and we’ve already got a new one scheduled to be installed by late summer. It’s not dangerous and is generally not used in July or August as there is central heat and A/C throughout the cabin. Regardless, the fireplace is fun to light and watch, so we’ll get it repaired. Thanks for buying ping pong balls. We have hundreds of them in a bag on a shelf that you must have missed. Our cleaners make sure a few are left on the table, easy for guests to find. If guests have questions about anything, we hope they reach out to us, as we can generally help. Thanks, Jonathan

We loved all the space for our large family . Enough beds for everyone! The living room with huge couches have everyone a place to sit and visit. We loved all the games tables. They kept everyone entertained. Volleyball, and firepit were super fun too. Having an extra fridge in the garage was so helpful as well for all the food we brought. Would stay there again!

Boring, OR

Beautiful place but had a few issues

  • 4 of 5

We stayed for 5 nights for a snowmobile trip with 15 adults. The house accommodated us perfectly and was very spacious. It had plenty of parking for trucks and trailers. We could also ride directly to the trails from the house on the roads (approx 5 mi) which was a plus.

A few issues ... the pellet stove did not work properly it would not stay on and when it finally would start it would fill the room with smoke so we didn’t use. The garbage disposal also didn’t work properly that also needs to be addressed. They don’t supply enough toilet paper, paper towels, or kitchen garbage bags for a large group so we did go to the store on day 3 for those items. The hot tub needed more chemicals day 4 and they came by and took care of that. Master bath shower light was out. All in all the house was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with everything from cooking gadgets to pots, pans, blender, dishes, silverware, etc. Bring your own foil, wrap, baggies, etc as those are not supplied. We enjoyed our time in McCall it is a great town with nice restaurants and bars and the snow was perfect for riding. We will definitely be back!
