Located on the prestigious Sunset Plaza Drive, our four bedroom, two bathroom home is perfect for visitors looking to experience the luxury of the Hollywood Hills. The master bathroom is complete with dual sinks, jacuzzi tub, stand alone shower and walk in closet. Decorated in a beautiful decor with stone floors, the villa has a great open layout with ample seating areas and a cozy fireplace in the living room. There is a dining area for 6 as well as small breakfast dining area in the kitchen. The gourmet kitchen is immaculate with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops making meal preparations easy and enjoyable. The house opens up to a private backyard with a beautiful pool, outdoor grill and patio furniture so you can enjoy our amazing Southern California weather!

Not a good experience

We were so excited to spend spring break as a family in what looked like a great large house in West Hollywood with a pool. When we arrived we were so disappointed. The house was very dirty. When we called the contact listed on the check-in instructions, that person informed us that he couldn’t help us as he “didn’t work for the owner any more”. We soon noticed that two of the four bedrooms in the house are actually “makeshift bedrooms”. They have been fashioned by taking what is actually a living room and separating it into two spaces by a particle board partition, (be aware there are no closets). These bedrooms share the same lighting source so if the light is turned on in one room it is also on in the other. This made it impossible for my sister to read or be in the room with the light on without waking my son. Also, one must walk through one room to access the other which is not ideal for privacy. There is a sliding glass door in one of these makeshift rooms that gives a person access to outside. But be aware if you need to use the bathroom at night your option is to walk through the adjacent room or walk outside. There are numerous lighting issues. There is no overhead lighting in the master closet and lighting in the house is configured so that no matter the wattage we did not feel safe. The owner kept offering to replace lightbulbs. We kept explaining that the issue of lighting in this very dark house was not due to low wattage lightbulbs but more due to simple insufficient lighting in the house. There are electrical issues as well. A message written on the microwave actually warns not to use the microwave and the kettle at the same time or a fuse will blow. Outside near the pool we found used plastic cups used tissues and many many cigarette butts and a very dirty pool. The house sits on the side of a hill and there is no on street parking. This makes it imperative to use the driveway. For two whole days a large rental SUV was parked in the driveway making it impossible to park on site. The owner gave us a partial refund on our cleaning conceeding that the house wasn’t clean. He also offered to send someone to clean the house. These cleaners never arrived and when we made him aware of this he insisted that they had in fact cleaned. There were no reviews on this house posted on the site yet the owner claimed we are the first of 100’s of renters to complain. Needless to say we cut our time in this house short.
