1 Double & 1 Twin bedroom, b´room, kitchen & lounge sleeps 4 comfortably

The apartment is located on the top (no lift) of a small two storey apartment block (only 6 apartments so very quiet). It is in a very central location in the heart of Montemar - on the border of Benalmadna and Torremolinos with the beach less than 250 metres away. There are bus stops outside with buses to Malaga, Fuengirola, Marbella and the centre of Torremolinos (5 minutes on the bus or less than 15 minutes walk). Malaga airport 15 minutes.

Local Restaurants: There is a wide selection of restaurants on the Montemar Strip, many catering for UK holiday makers, including Indian, Chinese, Spanish, English (even a traditional fish and chip shop). If you are looking for something special to celebrate an anniversary, Birthday etc we would strongly recommend “The Spanish Garden” (turn right on the Strip and it is almost at the end). If you like fish or want a more authentic taste of Spanish cuisine then visit one of the beach restaurants (chirunguetos). A little bit more pricey but the location, the ambience and authentic Spanish cooking with the freshest of ingredients makes it all the more

Local bars: Local Bars: The Strip has bars to suit every taste eg sports bars with all the English games, entertainment bars with cabaret, karaoke, tribute groups, drag; local bars to chill out.

Champagne Charlies – turn right on the strip and it is just after the Spanish Garden restaurant. A nice bar to chill out, sports TV at the bar, Quiet seating areas towards the front.

great stay for the week well looked after by jerry was on call any time,

update tv ,wifi would definitely stop here again if we went to montemar again,

clean and well maintained ,close to beach, ivybar,halfmoon,mirage,tomstavern,

all good place eat and drink, not forgeting stylesbar for good karoke

Most Enjoyable Holiday

The three weeks we spent in Stuart's apartment were very relaxing and comfortable. The apartment has plenty of space with every thing you need for a self catering holiday. It is fairly close to the beach and supermarkets. We are over 70 and didn't find the walk to the beach too onerous. We recommend visiting the Spanish Garden Restaurant opposite the Sol Aloha Hotel. The menu is extensive and the food absolutely delicious. It gets very busy so you need to book in advance.

The apartment provides exactly what is described and we would have no hesitation in recommending it to others. Jerry was waiting outside to meet us on arrival and his help and friendliness during our stay was very much appreciated. We are sure that others who stay in the apartment will enjoy their holiday as much as we did.

A very enjoyable stay

We were out there in Stewart's apartment a little while ago in the height of the hot summer.

We did enjoy the apartment. It was nice and spacious with everything we needed including a washing machine. The air conditionings were a great help!! The only thing lacking was a lift, as the apartment is on the second floor and would have helped us with the heavy luggages. But we managed.

The little grocery shopping which was left for us was very handy as we arrived rather late and didn't have to worry about rushing out for the basics. Thank you very much.

The buses are very close by. The train station is up the hill but I think the buses will go to most places people may like to visit. Anywhere else a lot further can be enquired at the tourist office only a short walk towards Benalmadena way.

The beach is just down the road with the marina a few more minutes walk a long the beach.

There are plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance.

I must say thank you to Jerry for all his help and being so nice and making us feel so welcome.

Thank you Stewart for letting us rent your apartment for the month of July,

The location was perfect and the apartment was supplied with everything we needed for a very comfortable stay, a very bright and spacious apartment with loads of cupboard space, comfy beds and a safe, the books ,dvd's and games were great, also the welcome pack left for us was excellent,

shops, beach bars and restaurants all within walking distance and the bus stop outside the door was so handy, it is just the perfect spot to get anywhere by foot or bus.

During our stay Jerry was excellent anything we needed he was right there and was so helpful, gave us great advise on things to do and places to go he is such a nice person.

we enjoyed it so much we are hoping to go back for xmas & new year.

we will certainly recommend this apartment to family and friends.

Fantastic apartment

We have stayed on this coast for many years at various apartments and can honestly say this has been our favorite, ideally situated near the bus stops and train station. Across the road in either direction are two supermarkets which have everything you will need for your apartment.We had our 13 year old son with us and although there is no pool you are about a 5 minute walk to the beach, Being so near the beach we found was handy when you want to go for lunch or a couple of afternoon drinks as it was easy to shower first and change into dry clothes. We all enjoy walking and the promenade here is perfect you can walk for miles in either direction, also there is a water taxi at the Marina which leaves every 2 hours to Fuengirola. Stewart's apartment has everything you need the kitchen is fully equipped if you wish to cook dinner. If you are eating out we liked the El Trillo restaurant which is only a 5 minute walk on the strip of Montemar, food here is quite expensive but delicious, also for Sunday lunch we recommend The Moorings which is near Bonanza Square. Stewart's apartment has been decorated to a high standard and has lots of dvd's books,games ect. if you fancy a quiet night in. There are two balcony's, one a small Juliet balcony leading of the main bedroom which is nice for the morning sun, the main balcony has nice wicker furniture and can be all lit up with fairy lights, perfect for a late night-cap. In all we would recommend the apartment to anyone for a great family holiday in a perfect location. Cant wait to go back.

Absolutely Ideal Apartment

Myself and partner stayed at this lovely apartment with our 15 year old daughter and our 24 year old neice from 26th July 2012 to 9th August 2012. This is an ideal apartment to stay in for easy access to all amenities,with a bus stop outside and the beach 5 minutes walk away. The apartment block is very well maintained and has a sun terrace with sun beds (which the 2 girls took advantage of) provided. The inside of the apartment is very spacious and comfortable with sky tv and everything required to make your stay enjoyable. Having stayed in many hotel rooms the washing machine in the utitility room was a godsend. The property was extremely clean and well maintained and with a large Lidl across the road and loads of restaurants and bars nearby what more could you ask for. The Spanish Garden Resterant nearby is well worth a visit and Dot and Peter at Lazy Days will make you feel more than welcome. For a great Sunday roast, the Carvery is also well worth a visit. Stuart, the owner of the apartment met us on our arrival and was very informative and helpful and also provided a welcome pack with teabags, milk, wine etc which was lovely. The airconditioning in the apartment is also ideal.

We had a great stay and would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this lovely apartment to anyone and look forward to staying again in the future.

The apartment is located in the heart of Montemar and is less than 250 metres to the beach. 5 minutes walk takes you to a wide range of restaurants, bars and local shops. Directly outside is the bus stops for Torremolinos town centre (5 minutes bus ride or 15 minutes leisurely walk), also buses to Fuengirola, Malaga and Marbella. The local train station is about a ten minute walk and covers the same destinations as the bus. Tivole amusement park is a short distance away with plenty of other local places of interest.

The apartment is comfortably furnished with a nice balcony off the lounge and a small ´Juliet´ balcony of the main bedroom. It is also possible to sunbathe on the roof terrace. There is a full range of electronic entertainment eg TV, DVD player; video player; CD and Radio plus DVDs, Videos, Books and a selection of the usual board games Local Shops: You are within walking distance of two supermarkets. The closest is Liddles which is out of the apartment, turn left and it is on the other side of the road – diagonally across the roundabout. The second and better, with an excellent fresh fish counter is Mercadonna. A little bit further but well worth the extra walk. Out of the apartment and walk down the main road (in the same direction as the bus into Torremolinos). You will find Mercadonna at the next roundabout. There are also a number of smaller local shops selling newspapers, groceries, alcohol, beach items
