2 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom (Sleeps 4) that is centrally located and freshly updated!

Once you park your car you will not need it until you are ready to go home! Your reservation of this unit comes with off street parking for ONE CAR in our parking area (Unit B Parking Area).

This is a quaint, beachy, quiet, older DOWNSTAIRS FIRST FLOOR UNIT OF A TRIPLEX only a block to the ocean with a life-guarded beach, and one block to the pier, and 'downtown' Folly Beach. Walk to all the bars, restaurants and beach with ease! From time to time, you can enjoy the acoustical music being played at Chico Feo down the street from the outside sitting area.

Our home was the "hotel" on Folly from the 1940's called The Marion Guest Quarters. The sign remains out front, but has received a "face lift" from one of our former tenants and now dons Blackbeard's Flag!! The history and charm of the home were two of the big selling points for us in purchasing the home. :) We have converted the home into three rental units - this unit is the downstairs front unit of the property.

As this is part of a TRIPLEX, guests need to be considerate of guests in the other units. As this is the DOWNSTAIRS FIRST FLOOR UNIT, sound can be heard from upstairs unit from time to time. We have priced this unit with consideration of this situation. We do include white noise machines in each bedroom just in case you are a light sleeper. If you are sensitive to sounds or looking for a private property rental, this rental WILL NOT be a good fit.

Additionally, if you are looking for a "party" rental, THIS PROPERTY WILL NOT BE A GOOD FIT. Driver’s license upload is required for all reservations as well as description of your car color, make, model & license plate. Parking on Folly can be tight and we have to ensure that the parking in front of our property is being utilized by our guests.

The property boasts 2 bedrooms and 1 bath with about 750 square feet. A/c, cable, flat screen TV, wireless internet, hotel style linens, bath towels, beach chairs, and a full kitchen, are provided. Ceiling fans in the bedrooms and living room. New living room and dining furniture April 2017.

There is an outdoor grill area with chairs and an outdoor shower for after the beach.

We are so centrally located, you won’t need your car! Center Street, Bert’s Market, the fishing pier, and beach are 1-2 short blocks’ away. Come relax!

MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY - 4 people.

Cleaning fee is an additional $100.

We are the Draper family. 2 adults and three children and a DAWG (that's right a big white English bulldog, names Lulu)! We are from Atlanta and Charlotte, but we found each other and Folly Beach! We love Folly Beach!

Why Eric and Marei Draper chose Charleston Area

We bought this property years ago as an investment, with the long term hopes of living there one day. The old beach charm, character, and fantastic location we couldn't pass it up. We lived upstairs for the last couple of years and enjoy all the Folly has to offer. We do not currently live here full time, but it is our escape any chance we get and it will be a full time home again one day!

Folly Beach is so unique, laid back, and beautiful...and still only minutes away from historic downtown Charleston, SC.

Once you park you car you can walk to all of Folly Beach's offerings.

What makes this apartment unique

The sign out-front says it all! Teach Edward Teach! He is the pirate, Blackbeard (Edward Teach), and the inspiration for the name of the property: Eddy's Folly. He adorns the sign out front and greets all passersby with a sign that mimics the flag that caused fear in many a sailor.

Great location! Clean and comfortable place to stay!

We spent almost five days here and had a great experience. The unit is super clean, set-up is great, and the location is even better. The owners were on site during our visit, were very friendly, and made sure to check on us to ask if we needed anything. Towels and bedding were super clean and there were more than enough for our stay. The beds were very comfy too. The availability of a grill and picnic table outside was a great bonus! I would definitely recommend renting here.

Great week at Folly

Nice find! Ground level, two bedrooms. Perfect for 4 . Older building, originally a small hotel with a true beach house feel. Remodeled, clean and efficient. Mostly private yard with picnic table, Weber Grill, and outside shower. The main strip is two blocks West with lots of great restaurants and entertainment. In the other direction only 4 doors away is Bert's Market, open 24/7. A little pricey if you're comparing it to Walmart, but not bad at all, my vegetarian Lady was quite pleased and the convenience is priceless. Shop Local! Across the street from that is Chico Feo. Outside seating, live music. A Bar with a Great Kitchen and unique menu. Less than two blocks past that is the Ocean.
