Very nice, easy to find....
Clean, but sparse
It was very clean and perfect for our very short stay. It was an easy drive to Interlochen, the reason for our stay. It was very sparsely appointed, which was fine, but not having handsoap, which we didn't think to bring was a bit disappointing. The house looks larger from the outside, but only the bottom floor is accessible to renters, which again was fine for our purposes. A list of instructions for departure would have been helpful. We weren't exactly sure what to do with trash, sheets, etc. Hope we left it OK. My youngest loved visiting with the cows!
Terrific stay just outside Traverse City!
Clean, quiet comfortable place to call home while visiting Traverse City this summer. My wife and I loved the location and space for our family. Our kids loved being on a working farm and checking out the cows in the morning. We would definitely return here next time we're in the area!
Very nice and comfortable house with everything we needed to feel at home. Plenty close enough with a good centralized location for traveling in all directions. We would be very happy to stay here again when we return back to Michigan. Thanks again!
Private, clean, comfortable
My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the farm house over the 4th of July weekend. One of the first things we noticed is how clean it is! It's only 20 minutes or so to Traverse City and less than an hour to Sleeping Bear Dunes (both of which we visited while there). We appreciated having a washer and dryer, as well as Scrabble to play at night.
There is no Wi-Fi at the house, but we were surprised to get good cell service on our phones (AT&T), so keep that in mind. Because it is a working farm (cattle), there were some people around taking care of the animals and puttering around the barn. They were completely non-intrusive and waved whenever we would pass by.
The only thing I would suggest to the homeowner is to stock basic kitchen cooking items such as salt, pepper, and Pam, as it's a bummer to have to pack those items.
Bottom line-I would return!
Was a great experience!!! Would stay again!!
Very clean, my only suggestion would be to provide basic seasonings for cooking.
