All the comforts of home.

  • 5 of 5

Having to attend a wedding Up North, I booked this house for my family and I. It had all the comforts of home and the owner was very quick to respond to our needs. The view was fantastic. Everyone said they would book this place again.

Thank you.

Home away from home

  • 5 of 5

It's like we went home to Grandmas cottage. Not a sterile rental house but a live home from a family who shared with us there lives. Great ambiance, everything you could ask for (We did have to buy a wine opener), beautiful "babbling brook" behind the home great deck and burn pit. Deer all over, safe jogging trail and easy to find. Will definitely want to stay again.

Great getaway!

  • 5 of 5

This house was the perfect location for us. Adults and kids (6 between the ages of 4 - 13) found plenty to do on our weekend. Fishing, swimming at Burt Lake, s'mores around the campfire, conversations and quiet times by the river watching kayakers floating by (rentals nearby) made for a nice break from the everyday routine. We capped it off with the Labor Day bridge walk.

The owner was flexible allowing us to finish packing our cars on our way back south after the walk. That alone made the process easier and was much appreciated. He responded very quickly to our original inquiry. House is clean and had all we needed for our stay, but if you need to make a grocery stop the store isn't far. Friendly neighbors who weren't bothered by our kids. Good memories were made! We recommend giving this property a try.

Great Location and place for family fun!

  • 5 of 5

We had a group of Ten two of which were 5 and 4. We had a great time going to all the different Up North attractions. The cabin was really nice and the river was cool with nice natural looking stone steps to get down to the edge. The water was pretty fast so the little ones didn't go swimming in it but the older ones could have fun in it but would need to be watched. Would definitely stay here again.
