This beautiful four bedroom, two bathroom, Fire Island vacation rental is located a short three-minute walk to the beach and a two-minute walk to the Ocean Bay Park ferry.
Set behind lush greenery, the home has a spacious, private deck. The outdoor dining table has an umbrella and seating for eight guests. Additional outdoor amenities include a BBQ, grilling utensils, two comfortable chaise lounges, two bikes, a wagon, a large cooler, and an outdoor shower to rinse off after a long day at the beach.
The main living area and the four bedrooms are all outfitted with air conditioning units for your comfort. There are spacious accommodations for eight guests. The first bedroom has a king size bed, the second bedroom has a queen bed, the third bedroom has a full bed, and the last bedroom has two twin size beds.
There is an open kitchen, living, and dining room concept. The brand new kitchen features custom cabinetry, stainless steel Samsung appliances and quartz countertops, a microwave, coffee maker, toaster oven, pots & pans, glassware, and dishware. The living room offers comfortable seating for eight guests and the indoor dining room table seats six. There are also two beautifully renovated full bathrooms (one with a standing shower and one with a shower/tub combination). Additional amenities include ceiling fans, a washer/dryer, free high speed WIFI, satellite TV, a DVD player, and all linens & towels.
Ferry service from Bay Shore lands you in the heart of the Ocean Bay Park commercial district, which gives off a bohemian and breezy vibe. Downtown Ocean Bay Park features bay front dining at Schooners and Flynn’s, a pizza parlor, ice cream shop, bagel store & deli, grocery store, and a bicycle rental shop.
Pets are welcome at this property but an additional refundable deposit is required. Please notify your Vacation Rental Specialist if you plan to bring your pet along on your vacation.

It is very important to us that each of our tenants has a great time during their stay. That being said, it is also very important to us to be respectful and considerate of our neighbors. Groups that are excessively loud and/or destructive will not be tolerated. If you feel this may be in issue for your party, please select a different property.
This home is managed by A2 Vacation Homes, a real estate property management company. A2 has full time Property Management staff on the island to ensure all tenants a comfortable stay. A2 Vacation Homes manages over 30 rental properties on Fire Island, and if for whatever reason this house does not suit your needs, we will likely have something else that does!
We rented this house for the first week of August 2016. The house is clean, the kitchen is fully-equipped and is brand new as are the bathrooms. It is just steps in one direction to the beach and in the other direction to the ferry. The house sleeps 8 comfortably. There were plenty of towels and then some. Everything you need for the beach -- chairs, umbrella, wagon -- all there. Two houses down is a general store. A 10-minute bike ride away is a grocery store that delivers.
There are a few reasons I gave just the four stars -- all easily remedied and, if fixed, I would upgrade to a 5. The sheets on a few of the beds were pilly, including the bedroom with the king sized bed -- that's uncomfortable. There isn't enough lighting -- there are two low lights in the living room and neither gives off enough light to read in the evening. The bedrooms also have small lamps. The lamp on the end table with the king sized bed has a dark red lamp shade, which needed to be removed to have actual light and there was no lamp on the other side of the bed - again, tough to read. The outdoor space was a disappointment. None of us used it except to grill. It has potential, but it has a bunch of storage bins -- just old, not maintained like the inside of the house and not inviting at all. I love sitting outside on vacation and it wasn't a nice place to be. If it looked like the picture, that would have been a different story. It doesn't. The house sleeps 8, there are only two bikes - four would have worked. We save up for a vacation like this; it isn't cheap, and it would have been nice to have proper lighting and decent sheets.
A2 Acqusitions was great, very attentive. I sent an email to say that we only had one bike lock and Sarah was at the door less than an hour later. When deciding on a rental property, she answered all questions in a timely fashion and it was a simple process
My friends and I rented this home for 6/16-6/22, the house was very clean and updated; the kitchen and bathrooms were brand new!! Loved the location, really convenient to the ferry and not even a 5 minute walk to the beach. Neighborhood was quiet, and neighbors were polite. When we needed new lightbulbs and emailed the property manager for them he was there within an hour. I highly recommend both this property and this rental company, A2 Acquisitions.
Spent the weekend with all my favorite girls and this beautiful hour. Very close to the ferry and the ocean. Kitchen and bathrooms were all very new and clean. I loved the outdoor shower too. Would rent again for sure!
