We just returned from a glorious two weeks in Przno. The apartment is great - has one of the best views in the place, looking out to sea and mountains and overlooking the pool. The management agency were lovely - very helpful and kind, and the daily 'spruce' of the flat, was really nice. Przno itself is delightful - whilst there is a large hotel by the beach that is a bit 'mass market', just behind this there are lots of lovely little fish restaurants just by the water, where you can sit and feed the fish whilst you dine. The beach is lovely especially first thing in the morning before the crowd arrives - clear water, great snorkelling around the rock, little restaurant where you can have breakfast. And Montenegro is stunning - fabulous mountains, glorious coastline, lovely locals keen to help (although lack of English can be a barrier - recommend learning a few words of montenegrin, which makes all the difference), really cool ruins at Stari Bar, beautiful old towns at Kotor and Buddva. I totally loved the place and hope to return.
The apartment was wonderfully maintained and offered conveniences such as a washer/dryer and Wi-Fi. Breakfast on the balcony with that gorgeous view was a perfect start to each day. The staff at the complex was also wonderful and very helpful. The pool just below the apartment was quite large and each morning pool umbrellas were put up and the chairs arranged to welcome guests. We rarely saw people in the pool though as a 10 minute walk down the hill brought us to the beach and the incredibly warm, blue waters of the Adriatic. Also down by the water are several wonderful restaurants and a beach bar.
Grocery stores are a 10 minute drive away and so many of Montenegro's loveliest towns and parks are with easy striking distance.
A perfect example of under promised and over delivered. We had a fabulous time!!

We spent a wonderful vacation 14 days in Apartment Blue Horizon owned by Maria and Oliver. It is a very nice apartment for 4 people. Very positive for us was the possibility by the heat of the high season in August, that each room can be individually adjusted with the air conditioning and that the large balcony only from around 17:00 clock (in August) has direct sun until sunset. That means you have the opportunity for an outside breakfast every morning without
that "the butter runs away". The whole appartment complex is very nice,
but it is necessary in the near future to carry out some renovation work on the pool and stairwell area in order to obtain the condition. In the surrounding area and on the beach there are many nice and good Restaurants. I would not recommend the appartment without a car and not for older or disabled people who have trouble with walking. There is a little Supermarket nearby but for
larger purchases you have to drive a little bit to the direction of Budva, to find
Otherwise, you have the possibility to drive to many different beaches or to explore the coast from the water side. A trip to the mountains to Negusi is very
charming and and then the winding road down into the bay of
Kotor with dreamlike views. There are several possibilities for trips in the surrounding area. For us it was a wonderful stay, we would recommend this
property to friends and we will come again, but in case it is possible for us
not in the high season. Thank you Maria and Oliver for the nice stay, the good communication between us and the warm reception by our arrival with cold drinks in the fridge.
We stayed in Maria & Oliver’s lovely 2 bedroom apartment this past June 15. The apartment is well appointed, with lovely furnishings and was very perfect clean (actually Maria organize each day a new cleaning ). The kitchen is stocked with all the amenities necessary to cook a meal at home.
The complex is well built and sits overlooking the beautiful Adriatic. The pool is a treat as is the concierge service provided by the Management company overseeing the property for the Owners.
The town of Przno is so charming and the beach is wonderful. The walk down and back up takes about 10 minutes.
We loved being able to sit out on the balcony for our morning breakfasts overlooking the pool and looking out over the Adriatic.
The Owners also provided a stocked beverage refrigerator with wine, beer, water, milk and Juice ... really nice touch from Maria.
Thanks a lot for everything Maria.
We have just returned from a very relaxing break staying in Maria and Oliver's apartment at Blue Horizon in Przno.
We arrived on a Sunday having driven from Dubrovnik airport - we took the scenic route which took about 2 hours and was stunning, there is a quicker route by ferry which shaves off about 30 minutes I believe, but we enjoyed the drive.
On arrival we were welcomed by the friendly staff and shown to the apartment which was spacious and well equipped. It was just as good as it looks in the photos with a nice sea view from the balcony. The owners had stocked the fridge with drinks which was a nice touch.
I was worried the apartment complex would be a bit characterless but it was actually very nicely done and felt quite personal. The communal pool is big enough to swim lengths but also nice for a leisurely dip and the area around the pool was well kept with smart beds for use solely by the residents. We went slightly off season so it wasn't busy at all.
The apartment was very clean - a cleaner comes every day to give it a spruce so it stayed lovely and clean all week.
We had mixed weather, but even with thunderstorms we enjoyed our stay as the apartment is so comfortable - the huge sofa is perfect for lounging and there is a large tv (although we didn't use it) and digital sound system to plug your ipod into. The balcony gets the afternoon and evening sun and is a lovely place to sit with a glass of montenegrin wine and watch the sun set.
There are local amenities in walking distance including some fantastic restaurants. Sveti Stefan is a short walk away and really stunning. It is also well located for trips to Kotor, Budva and the Skadar Lake National Park.
My only slight negative bit of feedback would be that the curtains in the bedrooms are sheer and do not black out the light which isn't ideal if you are used to complete darkness at night. I would recommend taking eyemasks to sleep in.
Overall I would recommend this apartment. Its a great base for exploring the Budva riviera and beyond.
Blue Horizon is located above the picturesque fishing village of Przno within walking distance to Milocer (the former Royal Families summer vacation home) and Sveti Stefan. In the 70's Sveti Stefan was a celebrity hangout guests included Sophia Loren, Bobby Fisher, Claudia Schiffer and Carlo Ponti. Przno itself is a charming village with many lovely fish restaurants, cafes and pizzerias along its waterfront including the Hotel Maestral. The hotel houses a casino and a lovely outdoor terraced cafe with views overlooking the beach. Przno is a 10 minute drive from Budva and it's old town, 30 minute drive to UNESCO's Heritage Site Kotor.
Przno Beach is 320 meters long and is a combination of sandy and partly rockly, Kamenovo Beach is nearby and is a mainly sandy beach about 720 meters long.
The Blue Horizon Complex has lovely landscaped gardens and a shared pool, amazing views of the Adriatic and the soaring hills of Montenegro.
