Albert View is a delightful, 2 bedroom apartment situated in the centre of Fowey with a great rooftop view of the estuary and is just a few steps away from the shops, restaurants and seafront. The property has been stylishly refurbished, decorated and equipped to a very high standard as a holiday retreat.

Albert View is approached through a gated archway leading from Fowey's main street. The front door opens into stairs leading to the 1st Floor where both bedrooms and the family bathroom are located.

Bedroom 1 is furnished with King size bed, attractive bedroom furniture; there is an en-suite shower room with shower, WC and washbasin.

Bedroom 2 has a Super King size bed (which can be divided into two twin beds if required), attractive bedroom furniture, an iPod docking station and built in wardrobe.

The Family Bathroom has bath, separate shower, washbasin and WC. There is also a utility cupboard with a washing machine and tumble dryer.

At the top of the stairs to the 2nd Floor is the entrance to the pretty roof terrace, furnished with patio table and chairs and offering attractive roof top views of the river - binoculars are provided to keep a close eye on visiting yachts and other boating activity on the Fowey Estuary, Please note that access to the roof terrace is via a high step up from the stairs which may be a little challenging for the less mobile - children must be supervised at all times in this area.

The spacious, open plan lounge area has been tastefully furnished with ample comfortable seating, wall mounted TV, DVD player and sound system as well as an iPod docking station and digital radio. There is a large dining table with seating for up to 6 people.

The modern Kitchen has been beautifully designed and offers a very high standard of equipment which includes an electric hob and oven, dishwasher, microwave, under counter fridge and freezer as well as an espresso coffee machine. There is a good selection of crockery, cutlery, glassware and cookware.

Excellent is every respect

The accommodation was everything that was expected. It was spotless, well equipped and the beds were very comfortable. The towels were heaven!! Everything was superb, especially the bakers across the road. For anyone wanting a central location in Fowey this is the place to stay. Parking is a challenge, but one that can be managed with some imagination - don't park in the Main carpark as the walk back up is difficult!! Just go along to the car park by the car ferry.

Fabulous apartment in excellent central location

We stayed here for 10 nights and would thoroughly recommend.

Location was excellent and roof terrace views were brilliant. Breakfasts and evening drinks overlooking the harbour made a relaxing holiday.

Beds were comfortable with White Company linen, two bathrooms with great showers and fluffy towels. An added bonus of a washer & dryer was appreciated.

The kitchen was brilliant - easily catered for 4 adults. Dishwasher & separate F/F, plenty of crockery & serving dishes.

Open plan layout was amazingly spacious.

Location was the best - it was on the Main Street so really easy access to everything - pubs, restaurants and shops.

Opposite a great bakers which opens early, and a small supermarket which sells majority of essentials. A larger Tesco is nearby at St Austell if required.

Great base for exploring, and for being able to walk everywhere - a big bonus. Nearby parking at Caffa Mill was easily accessible.

Brilliant, well appointed and a pleasure to stay in.

Communication with owner was excellent from initial contact to end of stay.
