Why Tim Sheridan chose Springfield
Our home is the only property right next to the Eastgate Woodlands Trailhead into Alton Baker Park and only about 100 yards from the Willamette River. There are more than 400 acres of recreation and natural area filled with walking, biking and running trails, including famous Pre's Running Trail. UO Ducks Autzen Stadium, PK Park and the Cuthbert Amphitheater concert venue are easily accessed without ever seeing a street or using a car! One of only two homes in the neighborhood with a view of the woodlands from the backyard patio, we enjoy the natural area immensely. Our guests, like us, can walk, run or bike to downtown Eugene or Springfield all along beautiful nature trails, the river and canoe canal.
What makes this House unique
We strive to provide much more than a place to sleep... the room is comparable to a high quality hotel room and we continue to work on the private guest courtyard to offer an outdoor experience along with the newly remodeled suite designed for maximum privacy. No interaction with Hosts is required, but we are happy to meet and greet and to provide recommendations to our guest for touring, recreation , eateries and watering holes. We offer 2 mountain bikes with locks and snap on lights so that guests may take advantage of all our natural area has to offer as well as local events, most of which provide bike valet parking (UO Athletics and Cuthbert Amphitheater).

Simply Amazing Airbnb Hidden Treasure
First the place is amazing ,
Check in process so extremely simple with a keypad lock code- specifically designated for you the guest. The host were very cordial, kind, and welcoming- yet really respectful of tenants privacy. It is a little outside of Eugene but really short walk or bike ride or Uber to everything. We used Uber for our transportation while here to move our daughter onto campus and even the Uber drivers admired the neighborhood. It is so peaceful as you can sit outside and watch birds of many different species come and eat from a feeder just 50 feet away. The Autzen football stadium is a bike ride thru the park- and tons of local variety of restaurants to dine in.
Best part were the goodies provided at the check in- with a cheese tray in the mini fridge. Plus bottled water. SO refreshing after a full day of flights and travel. I’ve already recommended this place and will certainly be coming back to stay. If you’re looking for peaceful, clean, and mature trails and biking and hiking availability this is the place. You won’t go wrong with Kiva!! Just a blessing!
Here for a horse show at Oregon Horse Center
Tim and Karen were awesome. Very accommodating and nice. Check in process was easy, private door code required no contact with owner if not wanted. I mentioned that we were bringing our two year old and they left nice bath supplies for her and toys; we weren't expecting that! Great little yard area with a table, chairs, and fire. And they even left a little cheese and cracker tray for us in the fridge (nice after our long drive). Great safe, quiet location that backs up to a park and hiking trails. If we are back in Eugene we will stay here! Thank you!!!
We had a great stay, and enjoyed the paved walking path to Autzen stadium! Thanks Tim and Karen!
The location is perfect for anyone with a passion for running and honoring Pre’s history in Eugene. The home is literally as close as you can get to Pre’s trail since it is adjacent to the park that is loaded with biking, running, and walking trails. The University of Oregon stadium is best reached through these trails, too. The property is immaculate, quite tasteful, and efficiently and smartly designed. It is cozy but perfectly suited for two people. The owners have created a beautiful private outdoor courtyard for additional relaxing. We used their bikes, and received thorough advice about good places to ride to. The host also mapped out a wonderful itinerary for a wine tasting afternoon which we followed perfectly. The space is compact, affordable, tasteful, and very comfortable. We will pick this property every time, for its location, it’s price point, its quality, and its superb hosts. We feel as if we have made new friends.
