A romantic spot for 2, 8 mins drive from the sea

Orchard Flower Farm is nestled within a beautiful valley just a few minutes drive from Penzance. The building is converted from an artist’s studio where the late Master printer, Hugh Stoneman produced work with highly acclaimed artists such as Sir Terry Frost, Patrick Heron, Sandra Blow and many others.

The property itself is finished to a very high standard, including art work from the artists that originally worked in the space. With an open plan lay out, the Studio is

light and airy, and with one wall comprising of floor to ceiling windows it allows uninterrupted views of the valley. With only the sounds of birdsong and water running in the stream, it is a perfect place to find peace and quiet. Guests also have full access to the 6 acres of land joined to the property and a wide range of walks in the surrounding area. Change over days are Monday and Friday.

Well-equipped and peaceful retreat in easy reach of many SW Cornwall attractions

Lovely, peaceful and well-equipped property. We enjoyed many day trips out into the surrounding area as well as spending time relaxing. The lane to approach the property is narrow, but we did still manage to navigate a large car down it. There are dogs and cats and it has a real home from home feel to the place. Linda, the owner is super helpful and welcoming. Trengwainton garden (National Trust) is an easy walk from the property and boasts beautiful gardens and a lovely café for cream teas.

Peace, quiet and comfort

The studio is lovely, with a gorgeous views over the valley garden. Eating breakfast on the deck, the resident cat visitors and Linda's perfect hosting. I couldn't have asked for a better retreat place. Perfect for one or two people wanting to get away from it all.

A Gem in Cornwall

We were so glad that we found Orchard Flower Farm for our very first visit to Cornwall. The studio was perfect for us. Orchard Flower Farm is a charming home with large windows on two sides to enjoy the views of the surrounding gardens and the nearby fields. The studio is bright and cheery. The living area is roomy and the kitchen is well-equipped and wonderful for preparing meals. There is a large terrace outdoors with chairs to rest in with a good book, a barbeque for grilling and a table and chairs for eating outdoors. The loft bedroom is cozy and comfortable. This is a perfect place to enjoy a relaxing getaway as well as a great place to return to after exploring the fabulous Cornish country side. From this location we were able to visit the villages of St. Ives, Mousehole and explore Land’s End and Sennen Cove. We also enjoyed walking to the nearby village to shop for groceries and visited the local pub for a delicious meal too.

Linda was the perfect hostess. There were also two charming dogs and some curious cats who came around to say hello. We were enthralled with the beauty of Cornwall and would love to return here again.

ideales hideaway

Hat man die sehr enge, mit einigen Schikanen versehene Zufahrtsstraße überwunden kommt man in einen Garten Eden.

Das Studio mit großen Fenstern , gemütlicher Sitzecke, kompletter Küche und kuschligem Schlafplatz auf der Galerie

bietet den idealen Rückzugsort. Wir haben von hier aus Cornwall erkundet, herrliche Buchten sind nahe ebenso wie einladende Dörfer, Pubs...

Linda ist da, wenn man sie braucht und Katzen und Hunde erfreuen mit ihren Besuchen.

Für gute Autofahrer jederzeit zu empfehlen.
