House for 8 people in Luarca, Asturias

Cueva Beach House, restored in 2008, is in a prime location, facing the magical beach of Cueva. Downstairs is the lounge with french windows to the terrace, a fireplace, double sofa bed , TV with DVD, stereo, etc.. and dining / kitchen area which also has a large dining table facing the sea. The kitchen is equipped with vitro induction, washing machine and dishwasher, microwave, oven, toaster, blender, etc.. The cookware is ample enough to allow a comfortable stay in season. It has a bathroom and a pantry oven. On the first floor are three bedrooms and a second bathroom. Two bedrooms are double and the third is large with a play/sitting area with two couches and bunk beds for three to four people. In one room the wall was replaced by a large window overlooking the sea and the river Esva. A unique spectacle. Large private garden with access for 3/4 cars. Educated pets allowed.

Seaside Heaven

As my wife and I approached the bay,we were astounded by the lovely view of the sea and river,with Ana's house in a central commanding position.The house was outstanding.Just as described,spotless,airy and bright,really well designed and furnished with quality fittings and equipment.

We would recommend it as an ideal family venue,the quiet beach would be great for anyone to enjoy,and literally only a one minute stroll from the house.

Take your binoculars and enjoy watching the many water birds that come to rest and feed at the water's edge.Seek out the local restaurants and try the local delicacies and rich red wines of 'The Ribera del Duero'

We had a really great holiday and were pleasantly surprised by how little we spent.Eating out,supermarket shopping and fuel cost much less than in France.

Wonderful house, fantastic location

We stayed in this property for 3 weeks in August 2012 and had a great holiday. The house was the best holiday house we have ever stayed in - very well designed, well-maintained and very clean. The house is beautifully situated on a lovely blue flag beach. The surrounding area is very pretty with plenty of other beaches to visit and interesting villages and towns to explore. The picos mountains are a 2-3 hour drive away and well worth a visit. In the nearby area there are lots of walks and other outdoor activities to do. There are lots of small restaurants with great value meals including two in walking distance. Ana the owner is extremely helpful and speaks excellent English.

"The Beach House"

The owner specifications were correct. The house is homely furnished this is also due to the pictures/paintings, which are unique and not from IKEA. With lower one´s sights we enjoyed the stay at „The Beach House“. We cooked regularly and missed nothing. The dish washer is only a small one. The windows has no outside roller shutters but you will find some curtains which darken more or less. The motorway bridge is only hearable in the late evening at low tide, less swell and windows are open. The owner was very helpful, the contact was friendly and special requests were direct fulfilled. Regarding the general conditions of the house we are a little bit in disunion. The house was not well maintained. Not dramatic and note that this is only subjective but we found some defect light bulbs, the floors were only swept, the main door lock was very stiff, the BBQ was very rusty and not usable, despite of fresh linen the bed smelt a little uncomfortable and the mattress in the master bed room sags a little in the middle. The garden is very simple and not nice structured. If a main clean-up and maintenance will be arranged, the house could be absolutely recommended. We are not nit-picked and have seen a lot due to experiances in house and apartment rentals more then 15 years – 3 times a year.

PRECIOSA CASA EN ENTORNO PRIVILEGIADO

Olvidé comentar que nuestra perrita se alojó con nosotros en la casa y a pesar de no poder disfrutar correteando por la playa porque es muy mayor, disfrutó mucho paseando y descansando en el jardín en medio de tanta naturaleza. Gracias de nuevo a Ana por permitirnos compartir con ella esta maravillosa estancia.

PRECIOSA CASA EN ENTORNO PRIVILEGIADO

Mi marido y yo hemos pasado unos días maravillosos durante nuestra estancia en esta propiedad, ubicada en un entorno natural privilegiado (Paisaje Protegido de la Costa Occidental asturiana).

La casa es amplia, funcional, limpia y bien equipada con todo tipo de comodidades. En todas las estancias hay amplios ventanales, desde los cuales entra luz natural durante todo el día y se ve el espectacular paisaje del mar y los bosques que la rodean. Estar dentro de la casa es un placer porque el paisaje está presente en todo momento y en la terraza o en el jardín desde la mañana hasta el anochecer, las vistas son espectaculares.

En unos minutos se llega a pie a la playa, donde dar largos paseos con marea baja o bañarse en unas aguas muy limpias. Estar tomando el sol escuchando el sonido del mar y al mismo tiempo el de los pájaros en los bosques y prados alrededor, es fantástico.

El río Esva desemboca en la playa a un costado, donde además de pasear por la orilla y bañarse, se pueden observar pájaros acuáticos. Imprescindible visitar los pueblos costeros de los alrededores ya que en toda esa parte de costa hay paisajes de acantilados y playas impresionantes.

Gracias a Ana por su interés, amabilidad y buena disposición. Desde aquí le felicitamos por su hermosa propiedad y le agradecemos que nos permita disfrutar de ella y del paisaje natural que la rodea, desde la admiración y el respeto por la naturaleza. Gracias también a Marce por su disponibilidad para ayudar y asesorarnos, aunque todo ha sido perfecto y no hemos tenido problemas en ningún momento.

Un auténtico lujo y un placer maravilloso. Descanso, tranquilidad y bello paisaje, todo en uno.

Absolutamente recomendable para amantes de la naturaleza y en particular del mar. Para disfrutar en pareja o en familia es un lugar ideal.

Impresionante

Me fui unos días con mi novia y con mis suegros y mi perro ha descansar y desconectar y fue increíble, el que mejor se lo paso fue el perro que se iba solo hasta la playa ha perseguir a las gaviotas y el resto desconectamos por completo el sitio la casa todo maravilloso.

Village house renovated in 2008 a few meters from the sea and river fishing Esva (currently the most important salmon river in southern Europe, including trout). Impressive views of Biscay. Terrace 100 meters above sea garden of over 1500m2, parking space for 4 cars. Enclosed area with barbecue. Environment with a variety of activities: surfing, diving, fishing, bird watching on the beach itself, and horses, canoeing, hiking, etc.. in the area. Excellent dining area and cheaply. A cetarea next takes the best seafood in the area. It has beautiful landscapes and beaches nearby high quality landscaping and water; Barayo, Otur, Sandy Silence. Near Luarca, Cudillero, Navia, Oviedo, Avilés. Central point to visit the Romanesque and Romanesque asturaino. Pets educated. Calm swimming area for children, ideal families, couples or groups of friends. Easy access by car to the property.

Very calm rooms and incredible night star watch. The third room is over 20 m² and can sleep four adults or children. The living room has a comfortable sofa bed for 2 people.
