This apartment is only 3 blocks from the Rittenhouse Square. It’s in a nice neighborhood with stores and resturants close by. If you enjoy walking like us than Chinatown, the historical area with the Liberty Bell, etc is within walking distance. Otherwise we didn’t have any problem getting an Uber (they came within a few minutes). Some of the apartment windows overlooked the street but we only heard the occasional noise. It was quiet and sleep quality was good.
The apartment is as shown in photos - large rooms with lots of light from the many windows and light fixture . It was very clean and everything was in good order. We were quite pleased with this apartment. If you have trouble with stairs, just note that there are 2 sets of steep, narrow, and curvey set of stairs (only 8-10 steps each) - the first set of steps is from the front door to kitchen / living room area and 1/2 bath and the second steps leads to the bedrooms and the one full bath . All in all we found this place quite charming and it truly gave us a wonderful experience of living in an charming older building..
Mike, the owner was easy to reach via texting and always got back to us quickly. We would most likely stay here again if we were in the area
Sunny, Stylish Apartment in Great Location
We really enjoyed our stay in this stylish but comfortable apartment.
The neighborhood had a great feel. The houses are so charming and well preserved, and there was even a mural right across the street!
The owner was helpful and very conscientious.
The floor plan of the apartment worked out well for us, with the living area on one floor and the bedrooms on the floor above. It's not for toddlers, the elderly, or people with a fear of heights, though (just kidding) because the spiral staircase is very steep. For us it was a special feature - an example of the unique character of the Philadelphia housing stock.
Great property that we would definitely rent again!
Cute, comfy and quiet place conveniently located
This spacious place feels more like a townhouse than an apartment with the bedrooms on the top floor and the living area/kitchen on the second and the entrance on the first. Perfect amenities for a home base while exploring the city. Tasteful blend of modern and historic. Highly recommend this tucked away gem.
Great Location and Absolutely Beautiful Apartment!
My son and I were in town for the Eagles Superbowl Parade and we felt like we were staying in our own home. The apartment is beautiful with everything you may need provided for you. The location is near most of the tourist attractions. Thank you so much I will be looking to book again sometime soon.
Short, But Perfect Stay
We were looking for a place to stay pretty last minute, but Mike responded right away! He was very accommodating and made sure we had anything we needed.
My teammates and I stayed one night before a tournament we played in NJ. We were only able to stay one evening, but we all wished we could have stay at Mike's place longer. The place was very clean and as cute as could be! I don't think I could find a thing at all to complain about!
I highly recommend staying here, but I hope you like stairs. :)
Michael was very helpful and responsive! We had a great stay and enjoyed seeing the beautiful lights in the neighborhood during the first snow!
