Guestbook comments from the owner

'A wonderful long weekend at Gorse Hill Cottage. Perfect position; overlooking the beach and town, with marvellous views out to sea. Enjoyable coastal walks start at the end of the garden. We found the cottage to be clean, and well presented, complete with a much appreciated welcome. Recommended!

Great location giving the best views of Pendine and the beach.

We had a great weekend. Plenty of space for 6 adults. The third bedroom is two singles end on so not so good for a couple but this info is in the advert so no supprises.

3 generations

  • 4 of 5

Gorse Hill was perfect for our long weekend with 3 generations of our family. The views were spectacular and kept all of us entertained. A short walk down through the garden brought us to the beach, pub and shops.

One rainy day took us to the swimming pool at Blue Stone which kept the younger ones happy.

The cottage is well equipped and well stocked, we were welcomed with a bottle of wine which was much appreciated .

All of us said we would recommend Gorse Hill and be happy to book again.

Wow, what a view

  • 4 of 5

This Cottage has to have one of the best views. The house is really lovely and well equipped and we all really enjoyed our stay here, wish it had been longer.

The house is very private and easy to walk down to the beach. Loved sitting in the conservatory enjoying the view that you cannot help keep looking at.

Relaxing stay in a lovely cottage

  • 4 of 5

Thank you so much for the 'welcome pack' of bread, milk and bottle of wine, which was much appreciated after a rain-soaked journey! The cottage is exactly as described on the website and we thought it was in one of the best locations in Pendine. There are beautiful views of the beach, and it was lovely to be able to walk down to the beach and village through the garden. The cottage was an excellent base to explore the local area. We can recommend the Indian takeaway in the village.
