About the property

3 Bedroom 3 Bath Beachfront, End Unit

We are located directly On The Gulf Of Mexico exactly one mile west of Pensacola Beach Pier. No roads to cross to get to the beach! You literally step out the sliding glass door of our condo and onto the beautiful white beach. You'll have 1,700 sq feet of open, bright and airy accommodations that includes a fully equipped kitchen, all bath and bed linens, washer/dryer, and two private balconies.

Our quiet piece of paradise is directly on beautiful, non-crowded Pensacola Beach and is ideal for strolling or long runs, swimming, surfing, kite flying, dolphin watching, shelling and fishing. Just across the street is a great local's hangout Peg Leg Pete's - known for their seafood, oysters and nightly music. There are other great restaurants nearby - Hemingways, Flounders & Grand Marlin to name a few. A 10 minute drive into downtown Pensacola will give you a myriad of restaurants like Georgo's Pizza, McGuires Irish Pub, Dharma Blue, Fish House and Jackson's.

Our condo is two stories. Stairs are inside the unit. An elevator is located at the west end of the building and allows access to both floors without having to take the stairs.

Upstairs, there is a queen bed in the master bedroom and queen in the second bedroom. Both upstairs bedrooms have private full bathrooms. Downstairs there is one bedroom with a queen bed. There is a full bath that opens to to the hallway. The kitchen and living room are also located on the first level. All the bath towels and bed linens you will need are provided.

The living room and master bedroom open onto private balconies where you can enjoy the beautiful ocean views and sea breezes. You'll be assured a good night's sleep with the tranquil sound of the waves.

I have the end unit with two round windows facing the sunrise. We are directly on the beach with all that has to offer.

What makes this condo unique

The views are spectacular. Pensacola Beach is one of the most beautiful in the world. We are only 8 miles from Pensacola and all it has to offer, but once you get here you may never want to leave.

I just got back from a week in this condominium. All the utilities and equipment worked well. The beds and furniture were very comfortable. There was internet. The nearest Publix grocery store is in Pensacola proper, but a little store of the Quickie Mart type across the street had all the essentials at surprisingly reasonable prices, so we never did do the grocery run we had planned on. The condo really should be thought of as a townhome, as it is three stories high (counting half of a two car garage as the first story), and while the upper floors - which are the living areas - are connected by an inside staircase, they can also be accessed by outside stairs leading to the living room on the back (beach side), as well as on the front (parking lot side.) I understand that there is a working elevator at the end of the building but my 85 year old mother had no difficulty climbing the stairs. The beachfront views from the first floor living room and the second floor master bedroom are to die for! Wonderful bands of seagreen, aquamarine, and seablue water on a beautifully maintained, quiet, friendly, white sand beach. The water is very clear and calm, and at low tide the water gets deep very gradually. I was sorry I had not brought snorkeling gear with me. Although the shelling is not as good as Sanibel Island's, it is quite as good as Destin's. I picked up three sand dollars, two boring turret snails, four lettered olives, one Florida fighting conch, one keyhole limpet, two lightening welk egg cases, and any number of scallops and cockle shells in the couple of hours I devoted to this pursuit one day. The condo is a short drive from Pensacola Naval Air Station, where we spent one morning watching the Blue Angels, (the Naval Fighter Demonstration Squadron), practice from the top of the Pensacola Lighthouse. It is awesome seeing them at eye level! The Blue Angels are stationed at the Pensacola NAS, practices are Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and if you go to Pensacola you should take the opportunity to check them out. Pensacola NAS also has an excellent Naval Flight Museum, with an IMAX theatre and simulators. The Blue Angels also practice above Pensacola Beach - one buzzed us the day after we arrived when we were dining across the street at Peg Leg Pete's but mostly they fly too high to be noticed

AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you love being on the beach this is the place for you. You are steps from the beach right out the living room sliding glass door with outdoor shower on the end of the building and access to the garage right there as well to store all your beach toys.

If you do want to venture out, Pensacola has a free trolley that runs every 30 minutes and stops right in front of the condo. We took it Friday night to go explore the boardwalk.

If you are into nature, you should know we got to watch the dolphins every morning over our cup of coffee on the balcony as well as the osprey hunting for their breakfast, add to that a loggerhead came in and laid her nest right in front of the condo. Some lucky person may see her come in again or even witness her hatchlings coming out!

Any questions/issue, just reach out to the owner. His response is immediate. He went so far as to leave snacks and drinks for us upon our arrival because I made him aware we were brining my terminally ill father for one last great adventure and he knew the travel would be a lot for all of us. If needed, there is a small convenience store across the street and if they don't have what you need they are happy to tell your where to go to get it. Not to mention there is a Publix grocery store only 4 miles away.

We will absolutely be coming back to this place!

Location was perfect! The beach was never crowded and it was gorgeous!

The condo had a great layout, loved the master suite with its view and the bed was very comfortable. The fact it's on the end allows more natural lighting and its very inviting along with the 2 balconies. The location is far enough away from the hustle and bustle of downtown, it's nice and quiet, and yet right across the street from one of the best restaurants, Peg Leg Pete's. The only downfalls - could be cleaner, get rid of remote controls that aren't needed or don't work, make sure all the light bulbs work, could use a larger table to eat at and a better mattress for the other upstairs bedroom. Despite the downfalls, I would rent here again! It was a very relaxing vacation!

Pensacola Beach rental Seahorse

I booked this rental at the last minute and needed a pet friendly rental. The beach access was absolutely wonderful. The unit itself was older and not in good condition. There were no fire alarms installed, wiring still there but they had been taken down. One of the alarms starting beeping in the middle of the night. My husband had to "find" them in a bedroom dresser drawer and one of them still had a battery left in it that was beeping The ice maker did not work, the dryer in the unit did not work, the dishwasher did not work. The unit had no blinds on windows that had beach views, so no sleeping in if you wanted too. The unit lists room for 8, the den had 2 chairs and a loveseat for seating, the dining table had seating for two. The owner was very friendly and sent someone to repair dryer and bring an ice maker, just inconvenient when you are on vacation. The owner also left a gift card for dinner and fruit and juice for welcoming package. The overall condition could be nice, just needs some work and cleaning. We just starting laughing at all the inconveniences we encountered because I could list more. The beach access was perfect, everything else was sub-standard.

Nice, clean and spacious...

This townhouse on the beach is a special property. It has two (2) balconies that overlook the Gulf. The one upstairs off the master bedroom is especially nice for that morning coffee. It had plenty of square footage and its beach front location made our stay incredibly nice. The owner was easy to work with and all that I can say would be positive remarks about our experience.

Very Nice vacation rental!! Location, Location, Location.

Best features about this vacation rental:

1. Location! We could literally roll out the living room door and be directly on the beach! The townhouse is directly across the street from Peg Leg Pete's---great food! Also right on the the bike/walking path leading to Ft. Pickens--we rode our bikes a lot on the trail. Also directly on the Trolley Line--enjoyed making the full loop on the trolley.

2. The views are awesome in all directions both inside and outside the townhouse. I loved waking up in the master bedroom to see the beautiful beach.

3. The architect and layout of the townhouse is awesome. The port-hole windows are a nice touch adding even more light in the master bedroom and living room. The layout gave everybody privacy with each having their own bathroom. Large bedrooms with nice TV's in each room (remote controls worked perfectly in bedrooms).

4. Nice and quiet unit on the end.

5. Kitchen and bathrooms well stocked.

6. The master bed was very comfortable with a soft mattress topper--slept very well.

7. Our family enjoyed our stay tremendously--especially being able to have our 4 legged friend with us! It was wonderful to find a pet friendly rental directly on the beach!

Negatives:

1. We had to buy our own ice every day because the ice maker didn't work.

2. We had to buy light bulbs for many of the lamps because they were either blown out or missing altogether.

3. Couldn't park inside the garage or use it because of the clutter, items just thrown in there, overpowering smell of dampness & mildew, and garbage/trash that was attracting ants.

4. None of the remote controls for the TV in the living room worked--we changed batteries but this didn't make any difference.

5. The owner was notified about all of these problems but no attempt was made to resolve the issues (we did receive an apology for the TV remote control).

6. It was unfortunate that we were unable to use the beach directly behind our condo for 3 out of the 6 days of our stay because of the beach restoration project. Bull Dozers were working night and day which obstructed our view and were very loud. We were not informed (by the owner) that this project was going on, but locals told us it was written up in the newspapers and on the local TV news.

Positives outweighed any inconveniences and we would rent this unit again. We were thrilled to get our beach back after our section of the beach restoration was completed. Great family beach trip!!

Perfect place in Pensacola Beach

The location of this condo is perfect. Close to everything but far enough away from the crowds. Carl was great to work with. Several great restaurants close by, Peg Leg Pete's right across the street. Will stay here again.

Deep sea fishing charters (you can pick up a charter trip close by) and we are steps from Peg Leg Pete's, a 'locals' restaurant known for great oysters. You are 8 miles from Downtown Pensacola and Historic Pensacola sites. Paddle boarding is BIG in Pensacola. You can easily pick up a class or rental during the warmer months. You are a 30-40 minute drive from outlet shopping in Destin FL or Foley AL. Also, lots of great antique shopping is available in Pensacola!
