Located within seconds of the beach in the Capitola Village, this newly remodeled apartment is equipped for the perfect family getaway, whether its for the weekend, week, or month. Parents can take advantage of the two bedrooms while the kids can enjoy themselves with the two beds located in the upstairs loft. Two bathrooms with shower amenities will ensure that everyone can be accommodated simultaneously. A full kitchen is furnished to service any meal. The living room is equipped with a flat screen HD TV and a pull out couch. Wifi is available throughout the residence. If there is a need to do laundry, a washing machine and dryer are available.

The balcony overlooking the Village and the beach in the background is perfect to relax on while people watching. After the sun sets, take advantage of the hot tub to further unwind. Private parking is available behind the apartment along El Camino Medio.

About Gian Paolo Martire

Our family has owned the building since 1996 and have enjoyed the Village through the three generations that have come to know the uniqueness of Capitola. We live within a half-an-hour of Capitola in the Santa Clara Valley and refer to the area as our second home. As fourth generation Northern Californians, we take pride in our area and we strive to provide the best for the visitors of our location.

What more can we say about Capitola and this apartment that hasn't already been said?!!! As a family we have enjoyed the Village and beach for its family friendliness, variety of dining and shopping, and awesome weather. The locals are welcoming and warm, and the area is safe. Everything one needs is in walking distance and don't be surprised if you don't use your car once while staying here.

Not to mention that one of the local favorite restaurants, Thai Basil, is downstairs!!!

What makes this apartment unique

As we remodeled the apartment in 2012, we wanted to add every convenience we could. A loft with two beds for the kids (or adults), a hot tub, a large window for natural lighting, WiFi and washing facilities. The balcony overlooking Monterey Avenue is great for people watching in the Village yet the double pained windows throughout the location ensure a good night sleep.

For us, its all about the location. Great restaurants, a beautiful beach, and shopping enhance a walking experience. There is nothing like stepping out the apartment door with a cup of coffee in the cool, fresh mornings and enjoying the Monterey Bay. This is why we keep coming back!

Great location, nice amenities

We couldn't have picked a better location! Everything in walking distance, shops, restaurants, bars, beach etc.. The condo was perfect, it was clean, nicely decorated, plenty of towels, beach chairs and the hot tub was great! Can't wait to stay again!

Beautiful, spacious apartment in a great location!

We picked a vrbo over a hotel because we were traveling with a child with severe allergies and needed our own kitchen. This home/apartment was spotless with large bedrooms, a large kitchen, and 2 bathrooms... all just a few blocks from the beach in Capitola!! It was also very quiet, and had parking. The kids loved the 3rd loft bedroom. We had a wonderful time here and will definitely return!

Incredible location, beautiful flat - wonderful place!

The owner is so friendly and made himself available even during our stay to answer questions. The house is perfectly located in the Village. Bedrooms are quite large. Nicely furnished. All renovated looking kitchen/bath/etc. The hot tub is quite nice and a huge PLUS! Highly recommend!

We loved this house! It fit our two families perfectly! The location is awesome and convenient. We have stayed at a number of houses in Capitola and this by far was our favorite! Hoping to stay there again for our next trip!

Almost perfect

We spent a week in this apartment on a family vacation. Our group consisted of 4 adults and 2 small (9 and 11 months) children. We also had a another friend come and stay with us for a few nights. This place was great for the size of our group. We had plenty of seating at both the dining table and in the living room. We had a bedroom and a bathroom for each family, plus the loft was great to be able to invite other friends for a night or two. The kitchen was lovely and well appointed in terms of amenities (good knives, good cutting boards, Tupperware available, extra sponges, and all the cooking utensils we needed except for a strainer). The house itself also had all the amenities needed: plenty of towels and blankets, games, and items for the beach. There was even some extra baby stuff like a pack 'n play. The house truly is family friendly including a built in gate preventing wandering littles from going up the stairs and outlet covers. The location is AMAZING. The owner, Gian, was very helpful and responsive. The only things that could have made this stay better were towels that didn't smell like mildew and quieter, more comfortable beds (but mostly quieter). We would definitely recommend this to friends and would stay here again.

Convenient and well appointed. Can't beat the location!!

The property is very nice. Clean and neat, with lots of the household needs provided. Could use a few more drinking glasses and fewer wine glasses. Finishes are well done. Bedrooms were spacious but the queen beds squeaked horribly. Had to take the mattress off of the box springs and put it on the floor in order to sleep uninterrupted. Not suited for having infants sleep in the room with all of that noise. With children, the loft above the bedrooms is great, but somewhat uncomfortable for adults to get into and out of due to the low ceiling. Limited parking can be an issue but the City parking lot a few blocks away provides a long term alternative for only $4.00 a day from 8AM - 8PM. Overall its a great location for a family to stay, right in the village and walking distance from anything you could want while at the Beach.

Capitola is a small coastal town on California’s Monterey Bay. The town was pioneered in the late 1800?s first as a lumber port and later as a vacation resort.

Capitola’s beach is embraced between two cliffs in a river valley. The river, Soquel Creek, is the site of the annual Begonia Festival where flower laden floats grace the river for a weekend in September. The Esplanade is a wonderful stroll in the village of Capitola, along a row of restaurants, historic homes and small shops passing by the vistas of Monterey Bay and the beach. In September the Esplanade hosts the Capitola Art & Wine Festival.

A major shopping area less than a mile from the beach is located on 41st Avenue featuring malls and major retail stores
