Upon arrival you will be awed by the amazing and mesmerizing views afforded from the home's living room and covered deck. Located gulf front in Seaside, between Odessa and Pensacola Streets, the lushly landscaped path and arbor at the double carport draw you into a courtyard landscaped with native vegetation, and the entrance to the home. Like many beach homes, Quincy Cottage benefits from reversed living, with a king master and two queen bedrooms with private baths located on the first floor. A coffee bar, with refrigerator is located in the hall, convenient to all the first floor bedrooms. All bedrooms have recently (Jan 2016) been updated with new bedding, mattresses and various upgrades.
A large secluded screened porch is accessible from the master bedroom and the courtyard. The native oaks and landscaping create an open but private outdoor living area. The main living area and a bedroom with set of bunk beds and private bath are located on the second floor. The open floor plan for the living, dining and kitchen, along with the floor to ceiling windows overlooking the Gulf, produces a comfortable, and spacious environment.
Nothing has been left to chance in this home: a kitchen equipped with sub-zero refrigerator, Thermador oven/range, dishwasher, disposal microwave, coffeemaker, and extremely well outfitted. There is a wet bar with ice maker near the dining area that will serve eight; the living area will comfortably seat everyone to watch the large screen television, the fireplace or the waves on the horizon; although no one should bring work to the beach (if you must), Quincy Cottage is equipped with Internet access, as well as a fax machine.
The second floor covered deck is furnished with dining table and chairs and cushioned chaise lounges and surrounded with railings continuing the theme of dolphin-shaped cutouts found throughout the home. Although beach homes are traditionally thought of for summer family vacations, Quincy Cottage's location and comfort offer great opportunity to witness the beach re nourish itself in the fall and winter, and makes a great place for building family memories for holidays at the Beach.

We just returned from staying at the Quincy Cottage for a week. We loved being right on the Gulf and its proximity to downtown Seaside. This cottage is so charming. We loved the huge outside deck and large living area. The bunk room was very small and cramped however it worked for our children. The view from the deck was obstructed due to the bushes/shrubs that needed to be cut back. Maintenance did come and trimmed one magnolia tree but said that it would require a professional service to trim. The neighboring houses all had their foliage cut back but our rental did not. The washing machine did not clean our clothing very well and you had to use the rinse cycle again after washing. Overall we had a wonderful time at the Quincy Cottage.
Quincy Cottage was perfect for our family of 8- The master suite does have a king bed and private access to a screened in balcony- great place for morning coffee! All bedrooms had private baths which were great and the great room/kitchen area is very open and comfortable. AWESOME views. The bunk room is small and tight, but perfect for kids! Seaside, as always, was a treat and you can't get better weather than in October. Love to come back next year!
We were told a king bed was in the master, it was a queen, the master bath was a little tough to get ready with not much adequate space however the location was great but the view was hampered. We did not see our chairs from the beach due to the high growth of berm vegetation. Excellent AC though!
