The cottage is lovely and cozy, with low ceilings, so tall guests beware! Neither me nor my partner are so tall that it was a problem at all. The cottage was very warm and the owners keep it stocked with nice records, DVDs, and games for rainy days. There are a lot more attractions than expected nearby, and many attractions and resources are within 5-15 minutes of the property! And ideal little getaway spot for two to unplug and enjoy :)
We loved this little place. It had everything we needed -- including breakfast the first morning. I would recommend it to anyone who is of normal height. My only caveat is if you're very tall, it may not be for you. The ceilings are low.
We spent a perfect fall weekend here. The cottage was very clean and cozy. The farm-fresh breakfast waiting in the fridge was such a lovely surprise too! We couldn't have been happier with our stay. Many many thanks :)
I had a writing deadline, and I wanted a quiet place with access to nature. This was it!
It is a very sweet spot -- nestled in tall trees in a quiet rural neighborhood. Lots of hiking trails, and nice walking all around. Leslie was fantastic -- even providing my dog with bowls and me with fresh flowers for our visit. When the weather turned cold suddenly and I needed heat, she had it turned on for me within an hour.
I got lots accomplished, had a relaxed stay, enjoyed the area, and had everything I needed at my disposal. Including a well-stocked kitchen for cooking. I would definitely stay here again.
Cannot say enough good things about this wonderful cottage.
We had a wonderful time at this cottage for our Mother/Daughter annual fall get-away. The cottage is very comfortable and clean. The next day we were going to the elephant flea market and the owner had directions ready for us. We would definitely return.
