This apartment was built in 2013 and is one of ten in a small block. There is a large living room with a well equipped kitchen and a small balcony overlooking the water, facing east. There is also a substantial and comfortable double bed settee, if required. There is a dining table, wardrobe and TV in this room which has lovely views of the harbour inlet and boats. There is 1 bathroom, with a good over bath shower and cupboard off the hallway. There is one double bedroom with a king sized divan and mirrored fitted double wardrobes. The bedroom has a door to the rear secure communal courtyard area with a dedicated small table and seating. The apartment has underfloor central heating. There is an allocated parking space if required in a small secure car park at the entrance to the building. Parking is charged at £7 per night of stay if reserved in advance. This charge is payable directly to the owner. The front door opens onto a cobbled area on the quayside facing south over the water. Very close to the apartment is a cross harbour ferry and various ferry excursions within the harbourside and beyond. The SS Great Britain visitor centre can be seen from the front door. There are cafes around the harbour inlet beneath the apartment.
We, my husband Lance, myself Angela and our adult daughter Sophia use this lovely apartment as a second home as we live in the countryside but thoroughly enjoy all that the city and harbourside has to offer as well. Lance works as an IT Consultant and Angela is a retired Social Worker. We are also part owners in our local village pub which the community rescued from closure or development -although Angela does not drink! Angela enjoys playing the flute, being a Parish Councillor and a member of the local chapel. Lance enjoys playing tennis, watching sport and listening to music - as well as being a frequent attender at Glastonbury festival. We are in our mid fifties. We were recently made grandparents to two gorgeous baby boys. We have three children, boy/girl twins of 23yrs and a son of almost 28yrs. Angela is Bristol born and bred but Lance is originally from Oxford. We met when we were 19yrs old in London and at University.

When Angela saw the plans for this development she was determined that we would buy this apartment. It's position on the harbourside is almost unique, especially for a 1 bedroomed apartment and it also had a rare parking space. The apartment feels more like a little house as it has its own front door, back door, a rear courtyard area as well as a balcony. The living area is also unusually spacious for a new build 1 bedroomed apartment. Further, there are only ten dwellings in this building and so we have a close knit Residents Association.
We love the activities on and around the harbourside. The lovely views of the water and boats and the numerous opportunities for excursions and eating out. It is also only a short stroll to reach the public open space of Brandon Hill, the shops and university of Clifton and the many historic buildings Bristol has to offer. The city is home to Banksy and there are many art, music and cultural exhibitions and events throughout the year.
2nd stay at this great apartment , fantastic location and facilities and lovely home from home touches, the owners are very helpful, leave a gift and other items such as tea, coffee and mil, will definitely stay again we love it
The flat is situated directly on the Harbour- giving great views and easy access to all the sites of Bristol. The hosts made everything ray and comfortable with great communication and detailed instructions. We'd recommend this property for anyone wanting to stay in central Bristol!

The property was a nice spacious modern apartment in a lively area, very well located for views of the docks and for access to all amenities in the town center with excellent secure parking.
The Boathouse is situated on the docks, opposite ss Great Britain. It is ideally placed for touring Bristol as it is within walking distance of all the major places of interest. We stayed in February and it was cosy and warm and lovely to come back to after a day in the cold. Although small, the flat feels spacious and is very comfortable and well furnished. Everything you need is supplied and to make it even more special there is a lovely view of the water from the picture window and a cute little balcony. There are lots of places to eat within s few minutes' walk - one restaurant is practically underneath the flat! We were left a welcome bottle of wine and box of After Eights, which was a very nice touch. We plan to return for a week in the summer next year.
We had an amazing stay at the apartment. Surrounded by the beautiful harbour, within minutes walk to the city centre and all the attractions. The apartment itself was warm and comfy, plenty of room. The hosts Angela was accomadating and made us feel more than welcome. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a great place to stay! 5 stars all round!
Direct entrance onto the quayside from the front door. Opposite Brunels SS Great Britain. Plenty of museums, restaurants and bars close by. AT Bristol Science Museum, The M Shed, Ferry excursions, Clifton Zoo, shops and Historic buildings very close by. Plenty of buses nearby. Plenty of Cafés, restaurants and bars on the vibrant Harbourside as well as a cinema at the Watershed. There is an express supermarket 5 minutes walk away. There are theatres and music venues within walking distance. The apartment has a parking space if required.
