Convenient 2 bedroom apartment in Edinburgh.

This apartment is well located in the Grassmarket of Edinbourgh. Easy access to hop on hop off buses, Walking distance to Edinburgh Castle, and is in the area where JK Rowling began writing Harry Potter.

Many restaurants nearby.

The apartment is well furnished, clean, full kitchen and clothes washer.

Could be noisy at night due to active surrounding community.

Walking distance to train station if don't have suitcases or 5 pounds by taxi.

Awesome apartment very close to everything

The apartment was great. It had everything we needed and was super close to everything too. It was like a 5 minute walk to the castle. One bedroom had one bed, and then other bedroom had a bed and then a small sleeper sofa. Both bedrooms together could easily sleep 5 people. The place was very clean and nice. The one night we brought dinner back to the apartment and found the kitchen very well stocked with plates, cups, utensils, etc... The only thing to note was that Bar Salsa had loud music and people on the streets on Friday and Saturday nights, but there was a small fan in the bedroom which gave off enough white noise to block it out. It might be worth putting another small fan in the second bedroom too. Thanks for letting us stay in the apartment!

I've stayed at this location before and the upgrades Gavin has made are worth every penny. Super close to the mile, easy access to Holyrood.

Edinburgh vacation

Gavin's place was wonderful. If you are visiting Edinburgh, you cannot ask for anything better. It is convenient to all the "must-see" attractions of the city. I cannot recommend it enough. It is wonderful. If I have the opportunity to visit Edinburgh again, I certainly hope Gavin's apartment is available.

With its excellent location the apartment is ideal for visiting Edinburgh's popular historic sights.

The Grassmarket and Victoria Street in particular boasts some of Edinburgh's finest restaurants and bars.

Only a five minute walk over 'The Mound' and you will find yourself heading for Edinburgh's bustling Princess Street and the contrast of the 'New Town' and the shops that go with it.
